I cant send or recieve faxes

Unplug the HP from the phone line. Connect any regular phone, do you have a calling signal? Can you outdial and receive calls? If so... Check if you're plugging the phone cable to the "LINE" not "EXT".

After a few drops of water reached to the keyboard, my Nokia E71 has began to fail, though I tried to dry as much as possible. In any case all my contacts have desapeared, I can create again my list of...

The problem you are having is a common one. All water - even fresh water - contains salt. And, salt is an excellent conductor of electricity. Once water came into contact with the circuit board in your phone, and then dried, salt deposits were left behind.

The salt (even in minute quantities) began to enter your circuit board, short circuiting anything it came into contact with. Especially, the phone's memory module. This is why your contacts disappeared.

Even having your phone professionally cleaned and repaired does not mean that it will remain in good working order for long. You'll just be chasing good money after bad in the long run. So, ignore any suggestions to have it repaired.

If you carry insurance on your phone with your service provider, I'd make a claim. If not, you should contact your service provider and make arrangements to purchase a new phone. You'll be much happier in the long run.

My Nuvi 1300 did not come with a UBS cable. Now explain how I can register my Nuvi 1300 without buying a UBS cable for $20.00.

To register your nuvi you will need a mini USB cable to connect the satnav to your computer. The cable should have come with the satnav so if it's possible to go back to the seller you might be able to get one free. Otherwise you may already have one as they come with many other products e.g. External hard-drives for computers, some cameras, some camcorders, some mobile phones (cell phones) some printers and many other devices that connect to the usb port of your computer.

Phone goes blank

sir is it blinks with white screen only or blinks with white screen then shut down?
-if the phone can receive/send text and mms messages while the incoming and outgoing calls become shut down,i think you need to replace the battery because it is weak.use only original battery.
-and if it is blink with white screen only try to reset all settings or reformat your phone,if not work hardware problem go to repair shop.

White screen driving me CRAZY!!!

The issue you are having deals with the "flex cable" connected to the motherboard of your phone to the LCD screen. This cable is very important, because it transfer pixels so that you can view your handset and operate it. Over excessive opening and close the slider, can wear in the flex cable to cause the white/garbled screen. It's not your fault, but the manufacturer and their effort to fail to make a device that can withstand excessive sliding. Check with your local service & repair store. If you do not have insurance, other options will be given you. Thanks. Hope this helps!

Cant make calls or make or receive texts on verizon phone

The best thing to do is to take the battery out while the device is powered on and leave it out for thirty seconds, then replace the battery and power the device on, once it is at your main screen dial *228 and send selection option one by pressing 1 and let the music play after the programming is complete it should work just fine.

My cell phone screen dont work

This is a common problem, it has to do with the keypad flex. either the connector on the top part of your phone is unpluged or your flex is damaged. Open the top of the phone where the screen is at (4 torx screws) genlty remove the cover. you will see two connectors, one that goes to the camera, the other is the one you want. genlty pry it off upwards, I would also clean it with some IPA (rubbing alcohol) and a brush, re-connect it pushing down firmly, you will fill it when it connects. if it doesnt work, you can purchase a new flex, if you need repair help, let me know I can try to repair

Everything works but the screen. Need help to recover address book

Yes you can access the address book using a data cable, but why don't you just take out the sim card if the numbers are stored on there? Or are they stored on the phone? I have a v551 with the sme problem that i am trying to fix so I have mine in pieces. If I can fix it I will let you know.
