The handle on our la scala wall oven door has come undone at one end. Do we simply remove the interior screws of the door, and do up the door-handle screws again from the inside. Are their any problems in disassembling the door to do so (with gaskets or anything)?

SOURCE: how do i disassemble Delta Innovations Centerset

So I believe based on what you are writing, it's a double handle style faucet. So you loosened the set screw that holds the handle on which is located near the top of the handle close to where you would grab. I would totally remove it from the handle just to make sure its not catching on a burr. If you have pulled and it will not come off, you will have to use a handle puller. Your local hardware store should carry them for less than $10. When you see the puller, it will be self explanatory on how to use it. Sometimes the handles can be hard to remove especially if they haven't been removed in a long time. Worst case is that you will have to cut the handle off and replace both the stem and the handle. That can be a little more costly. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Need to clean liquid drip from inside of door whirlpool built-in

Hi, The screws in the bottom edge of the door will need to be removed. The dor handles screws usually help hold the upper part of the door together. There might be screws on each side. Makes sure the door is laying on a flat surface and be gentle with the glass pieces. They are very fragile.
I am sending you a picture of the door pieces and how they line up inside the frame.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Door handle fell off of oven

Rachel, every range oven door I've seen, that was built in the last 20 years comes off the range by opening it about 6 - 8 in. from the top of the door frame, taking a firm grip on both sides about 8 - 10 in. down, bend the knees slightly, get a good grip on the door and pull up sharply. The door should release from the spring hinge on each side. Once you have it out you can lay it flat on the kitchen table, (preferably on a towel or cloth of some sort), with the inside facing up. There should be several screws that hold the interior portion of the door to the outer portion. If you remove these screws you should be able to remove the inner portion of the door, by pulling straight up, easily, and put it on the floor or if there's room, on the counter or table. Now you should be able to locate the holes the screws go into, to hold the handle on the door. If they connect from the interior, you should have found them when the interior was off the first time. Take them and install the handle. If there are none, find some chatterproof washers and put one on the inner side of each screw to keep them from loosening again. Once you have the handle secured to the door you should be able to put it back together. After you have assembled the two halves of the oven door, make sure the two hinge assemblies are pulled away from the frame of the oven at approx. a 35 degree angle. This is necessary to have the proper clearance to allow the door to slide down onto the hinges and grab on inside. The door should slide right down over the two hinges and then you can close it up.

How do you put door back onto Electrolux wall oven......Been trying for hours, no success!

Hello paulascor549 - I completely understand that you took the oven door apart to clean it, therefore you must have took the following steps to do so. According from my research you would have to reassemble in reverse order. If you have already tried to do so and it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Door Removal and Cleaning of Interior Glass

C. Lay door on table, position so that handle hangs freely over edge of table

D. Remove 2 screws and washers that secure handle to lining assembly.

F. Lift door lining up and out of wrapper trim assembly.

Loose handle on H4900B oven door. How do I access it to tighten the screws/nuts?

Look at your booklet that came with the oven - the page that shows you how to clean the door. The inside glass panel folds upwards and outwards and you can then access the screw holding the handle in place. Unfortunately you need a rather strange star-shaped screw driver.... I had to go and buy one but that's a lot cheaper than a Miele engineer call-out.

If you can't find your instructions you will be able to look it up online.

The handle on the bottom oven fell off. how do i reattach it?

I suppose the handle you are talking about, is the long, wide one, used to pull that oven door open, right? I personally do not have any experience with this particular oven-- However:

These handles are usually held on by a long screw at each end.
So-- when you look at the handle-- do you see where the screws should attach at each end?
And do you see matching holes thru the door-- where the handle was once attached?

Now: Where are the screws?
We know they were there at one time, right?
So-- can you open the door, and can you locate where the screws are now?
Once you locate the screws, can you hold the handle, and re- screw the screws ito the threads in the handle? You have the necessary tools? -- Screw driver and flash light?

When you examine things closely-- get back with us, and we can help you to your next step.

The door handle has come appart. How does the

I'm not mechanically-inclined, but the frustration of an oven handle hanging by one side prompted me to try to become mechanical. Remove the entire door from the oven by working the hinges. Then put it on a flat surface (I used a pool table) and let the hinges act as a shim. Remove the bolts from the bottom edge and lift out the main panel and the end flanges. Carefully set the glass aside and it's an opportune time to clean it. You'll see two bolts which hold the door handle assembly in-place. Upon removing those, you'll finally be able to get at those interior door handle bolts. One of mine was missing a lock washer. I found adequate replacement parts and then reversed the process to re-assemble the door and place it back on the oven. This seems to be a common defect with this model, and it's unfortunate that the handle's bolts can't be assessed more easily, but when you go at it systematically, it wasn't as difficult as I had feared.

Oven Handle drops off of door

Whatever keeps the handle on is not working. Most oven handles are held on by a screw on each end. It can be tightened from the inside of the oven door. If you don't see the screws, you may have to take the door apart. Buy some longer screws if needed.
