Question about Canon PIXMA MP130 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Try opening the scanner part as if you were changing the ink cartridges. To the left of center, about 1/3 of the way toward the back is a switch activated by a small plastic piece hanging from the bottom of the scanner. Push down on the switch (it was very easy to activate it on mine), then try doing a copy. That made a successful copy for me, then I closed it up and it seems to be working (after I changed the low ink cartridges it was even readable). Hope this helps. Try the following if the switch activation fails to fix it:
• Use the Nvram access trick:
Press Menu, then Scan, Copy, Scan toenter Service Mode
Press the + button until you arrive atNVRAM ACCESS, press OK
Use the + or - buttons to reach ABS-MLEVEL, press OK
Set the level on zero and press OK
Use +/- to reach ABS-P, press OK
Set this level to zero and press OK
Press STOP to exit the menu
Switch off and restart the printer.
