The words are showing up on my tv screen when playing a dvd. what do i need to do to get it off

You have closed captioning turned on. You need to sort through the setup menus for the player and find how to turn it off. It may show up in the menus as "CC1", CC2", etc. Choose "off" instead.

Product is stuck on loading


Check it by inserting an other known disc, which was playing without any problem. If with this disc too show the same problem, the optical pickup unit to your player shoud be replaced.

My dvd player by crosley doesnot play when i put in a disk it says no disk but the word crosley shows up on the tv screen.


the lens in the dvd player is not working... you need to replace the lens to make it work...

DVD movie playing have words on the screen is call subtitle.Goto DVD main menu.Turn off dvd movie subtitle,now dvd disc playing,will have no more words on the screen.

VHS won't play


If it's showing a welcome screen, the DVD is on. The VHS won't show a welcome screen. Some machines are a little tricky because they want to start in the DVD mode. I would concentrate in that area.

Either the disc or the player likely need a good cleaning. Clean the disc with a soft cloth, clean the player with a good cleaner disc.

DVD CONNECTION


My tv has a "game" button and that is the only way my dvd will play on it. Hope this helps.

u have a off brand tv set that will not get and parts to service it go buy a cheep dvd player for $29.00 at walmart i know u dont wont here this but it is true when u buy the off brands llike the one u have u donot repair them u just go buy another one sorry i hpe this helps u

Stuck on Channel searching!!!


the problem is we have no cable-none at all. The tv is used only for playing DVD's. solution check dvd to tv wire or socket if it is ok then play dvd in another tv if it works fine then problem in tv. for that check tv tuner & its circuit for loose. check tuner itself
