It is a regular toaster, the kind you use for toasting bread or bagels. Thanks for your help

I moved into a house that used to have a built in the wall toaster. Do you know where I could find one besides Ebay as there are none available there. The hole in the wall is there. I would love to have one. I think it may have been a Thermador. Already check their website, nothing. That's why I signed up to this service. :)

I'm not looking for a "wall" brand toaster. I'm looking for a built in the wall toaster. It tips out from the wall, then after toasting it pushes back flush with the wall. I do not have the model # just a hole in the wall with the words "toaster" written inside the opening above the power source coming in to service it.

I am not looking for a "WALL" brand toaster. I too see them everywhere and would not have paid for help to find one. I am looking for a toaster that was built into the "wall". It tips out for toasting then pushes back flush with the wall when finished. I am finding out they do not make them anymore, but they are out there if you can find one. Modern Maid is one brand that made them as well as Thermador. Thanks for your help

    It was a toaster.

I'm restoring and then moving into a vandalized house. All the appliances are missing. There's a very neatly cut rectangle in the wall under the cupboard. Inside the hole on the wall board behind it the word "toaster" is written. There is a power line run to this spot and a breaker that says toaster. I'm trying to find a toaster to go there.

It was stolen from the house before I moved in. I have know idea what the model # is or what was really there. There's power run to it and a breaker marked "toaster". Inside the hole on the wall board behind it is the word "toaster" probably written my the contractor.

Do you have any idea what the model number was for the original? What are the dimensions that you are looking for?

Hi,

To begin with, there are plenty of wall toasters available for sale on ebay :-

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_kw=wall&_kw=toaster

Are you looking for a specific toaster? If you have the model number for the old one, i could try to search that for you.

Let me know,so that we could proceed.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Was this a built in wall toaster or built in microwave? Once I have more detailed information I can continue to assist you.
Thank you,
Lee

If you have a make and model number of your old one it may help. Unfortunately they don't really make those anymore. Your best bet would be finding a used on ebay. Which i'm not finding one right now.
If you need further assistance please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Lee

Given the age of these things they can' t always be found instantly. There are forums you can post on and search ebay and craigslist and one will pop up soon enough.
    Thanks,

My breville toaster model BTA840XL won't drop the bread in for toasting

If your power-socket is off, it won't. (I've done it several times, foolishly cursing the toaster).
Otherwise unplug from wall, remove covers, check by pressing base down with a pen etc. On most auto-eject toasters, a powerful electromagnetic solenoid (electric magnet) holds the base (slice carriage) down while cool and warming up. When preset temperature is reached, solenoid is de-energized, releasing its magnetic hold on the base, allowing springs to pop bread up.
If you (or friend) has a tester and expertise, check solenoid (small coil) for resistance. If OK, (not open circuit), problem is in control circuitry.

Looking for the repair & users manuals for my thermadore wall oven sc301tp

Hello cfrisz,
I am new to the fixya and I saw that you were looking for a manual. I hope that this information can help you find one if you still are looking.
At this web they have a similar users manual or if you type in model (if there is another number on oven) number maybe they'll have it.

http://outdoorcooking.manualsonline.com/search.html?q=Thermador+SC301tp&submit.x=25&submit.y=28

or here is the main website (you might have tried it already)
http://www.thermador.com

in the contact us section there is a form to fill out and maybe you can get one that way. I'm not sure on response time. Most company's do not mind giving people replacement manuals.

hope this helps

Electric tripping

There is no way to boost the amount of electricity to your kitchen, short of having an electrician run additional outlets on a new circuit. It sounds like you have too many appliances plugged into one circuit. Most kitchens built since the adoption of building codes have two small appliance circuits, usually on opposite sides of the room. Try moving the electric kettle across the room. If that doesn't work, try unplugging or at least not using the toaster, toaster oven, electric griddle, coffee maker, microwave, or other high demand appliances at the same time.
