Just dead, no power. not green light indicator power on rear

If there's no light on the power supply when you plug it in and you know that there's power to the cord then you have to replace the power supply. They are cheap and easy to replace. If you took it in to a computer repair shop it should only cost you no more than $75 with installation fee for a cheap replacement power supply. This machine doesn't need anything more than a low priced 400 to 500 Watt power supply since it's original one was only 200W. If you get a used one you should be able to get it for around $40 installed. Not sure where you are located but that's the norm in most of North America. Cheers

Need a replacement power supply for e machine t3092

Hello sbfca, Here are a couple links to power supplies that will work for you: Any of these will work with you factory system. If you have installed a better graphics card or additional drives, you may want to increase the wattage. I have had good experiences with both of these sites and the ratings and reviews for the hardware are very helpful when making your final decision. Post a reply if you need any other assistance with your power supply or please rate this solution if you found it helpful. Thanks! Edward

Hi kgee
Although this is not the exact service manual for your tv, it does have the same power supply.
http://www.wimtv.be/techniforum/files/ps42p3sx_ch._d58a.pdf
As a matter of fact your akai is a samsung tv.
the replacement of that board is easy since it is all plug-ins and you can find that power supply in quite a few places,
Just google that part number.
Hope this help and good luck

Cannot boot or switch on

The power supply is faulty and needs to be replaced, undo the screws holding the top cover on, pull the cover up and away from the from the front, the power supply will be at the back on the right, there are four screws holding the power supply in place, they are at the back of the computer case, undo these and the power supply should come out, make a note of where the power connectors go before removing, take the power supply to your local pc store, as most power supplies are standered the compaq power supplies maybe slightly smaller in size, so your local store may have a replacement or you may have to order one straight from compaq. hope this helps. cheers.

Medion M3 Composer 5100 PC need to replace the power supply

Hello!
I presume from the very brief description? you are adept at changing the power supply and have installed it correctly? The power leads from the supply each have corresponding male/ female plugs to which only correspond the route or receiver they need to be connected too.if you are asking for a schemetic diagram for place to place positioning for your newly self installed power supply I really can not help,(without more detailed information) save to say obviuosly you are well clued in to the p.c.for repair so I presume possibly a Motherboard circuit diagram is in your possesion or maybe a sniff on the site available for your p.c.

Happy New Year!

Replacing power supply HP M8120N

Here is the link for the upgrade and service guide.

This one is just as easy as 1) removing the side panel; 2) Remove the four screws that hold the power supply into position; 3) Remove the power supply cables from the motherboard (NOTE: If the media bay reader is in the way, you remove the front bezel by pressing the release tabs on the bezel and it will swing open. Remove the one screw securing the bay in position, then slide it forward so you can reach the power cable to the motherboard.); 4) Remove the power supply cables from the hard drives, cd rom drives, and other peripherals inside the PC. 5) Remove power supply...sometimes there is a button to push and it will slide out, sometimes not. 6) Replace power supply, then reverse procedures.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

Power supply

Not sure what you requesting as information but to install a power supply is easy (make sure it's not plugged in obviously). Take off the case...it's right there. Unscrew from the outside to remove and install new. One word of caution...I am not a big fan of E-Machines "past"....motherboards and power supplies were (are?) major failure items with these machines. If you wish to know what supply to use check what you have and then go to pricewatch.com to find one....note, it need not be the same brand (preferable probably) but it does need to have the same dimensions and wattage. Trust this helps...Tango
