Question about Frigidaire FGX831CS Top Load Stacked Washer / Dryer
Remove the front panel by pushing in the two clips on the front end of the machine and removeing the two screws on the bottom.then put the unit in a drain and spin mode and see what happens you may need to remove the hoses from the drain pump and look for any obstructions.you can also grab the inside of the tub and try to move it.It should only spin in one direction if it moves in both directions then the transmission is bad.

Hello. I am sorry to be the messenger of this but your transmission is shot. That said, the repair is costly even if u do it yourself. If the machine is more than 3 years old I recommend that u put the money toward a replacement rather than a repair. Joe
