How do I change the battery in a logitech wireless battery. I can't seem to figure out how to open it to even see what kind of battery is needed.

For changing the batteries of logitech wireless.I guess a video tutorial will help you out rather than written instructions. Watch it to lean how to replace battery of the logitech cordless mouse ( Logitech MX 1000 Model). If you are having a different model please specify the details of your model.

Hadn't used my laptop and vx mouse for about 2 years. was fine when last used. now, nothing. threw in fresh batteries. cursor won't budge.

I guess you need to pair the mouse with the receiver once again. Logitech provides connection utility on their support site - http://www.logitech.com/en-us/428/3271?softwareid=4338&osid=14&section=downloads.
However, I would check that the battery connectors are still OK on the mouse. When you turn the mouse on, does the light come on?

hi marlys, i am happy to assist , Ya its not too easy to replace battery in logitech cordless mouse,in the back of mouse, you have mouse pad just remove it , you can see they provision to remove the mouse, there been Four screws been inside that mouse pad, But before going to open your mouse just check you have new battery with you, if you connt find in any shops just go to eBay , you can get it thee, If you mansion the excate model name of your mouse mean i will send video for that particular model itself , no issue just check out this video

How do i change the mouse battery?

Hello Dear,

Usually Cordless mouse comes with rechargable batteries, that you don't need to change so frequently, if you charge them at regular intervals with charger provied along.
However, you can change the batteries, by turning the mouse upside down. Now you see the battery compartment, just open it by pressing the lock down. Now pull down the old batteries and replace with new one. Just make sure that the new batteries are placed in the same way as the old one.

Why does my cordless mouse blink red?

My guess is that it is trying to tell you the battery in it is about to run out. Try changing the battery and see if that fixes it.

Need to know how to open the mouse to change batteries

Hi,

Most cordless mice have the batteries in bottom or under the back (palm) end of the mouse. Here is an example. Just slide the back half toward you. Most regular size mice have 2 batteries. Some mini-ones only have 1.

How do you change the battery and what type is it?

The battery compartment depends upon the model of your mouse. But most of the mice have a battery compartment on the bottom. You just need to slide it down and it will open.

Hi I have cordless Logitech mouse that was working until yesterday. Not sure if I have to change battery. If this is the case, how/ WHERE do I open the mouse to change the battery?

The battery holder is on the top of the mouse directly under the palm of your hand. simply push the surface away from the mouse buttons and it should pop open.

Things you'll need:
2 AA batteries

Instructions

Turn the mouse over so the back is facing upward, then slide the power switch to the "off" position.

Place the mouse on its back and slide the battery cover off the front of the mouse with your thumb.

Remove the old batteries by sliding them out of the battery holder.

Slide two fresh AA batteries into the battery holder. Make sure you orient the batteries with the positive sides facing the plus signs and negative sides facing the minus signs.

Slide the battery cover back into position until it snaps into place.

6

Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "on" position to resume use.
