Is reading books becoming a thing of the past?

Books never lose battery. Books never need to be charged. They do not need a password or a charger. There should be no fear of it being stolen. Books are the most valuable gifts available. I know books can never be defeated because they are evergreen

Using iphoto

Hi Heather. What do you mean by 'not completely happy'?
The templates in iPhoto are pretty good and they do make excellent books. You can create pages to your own layout as well.
With options, do mean alternatives to the templates?
There are other book making systems out there (depends where you are). In the UK there's Blurb, who I have used, Their finished books are excellent but I found the software used to do the layouts to be a bit clunky and not always accurate. (i.e positioning images is not as easy as it should be) then there's also Bob Books - I have started a book with their software but haven't finished it yet, and there are several others to try. Just do a search for photobook printing.

The printer color is not true enough between what it coping.

What type of cartridges are you using? In my opinion, one always gets the best color reproduction when using the cartridges made by the manufacturer of the printer, rather than generic cartridges.

You should also check your printer settings:

>Start
>Control
>Printers
>Right click on the Brother
>Printing preferences
>Paper/Quality
>If your printer is set for fast or quick print or normal your color Manet be that great. The higher you set it, the better the color and the more ink you use.

Let us know how this works for you.

New hp 6500 officejet printer, cannot print checks from quickbooks pro

This is actually a quick books issue that they blame on the printers
here are the follwing steps to resolve the issue
Quick Books (2009) qbprint.qbp file change
doc&settings\allusers\appdata\inuit\quickbooks
rename above mentioned file to qbprint.old
if its an erlier version of quickbooks ie. 2006, the file path is then: doc&settings\programfiles\inuit\quickbooks then look for the file and rename it
Here is the website from intuit that acknowledges the issue

Using Quick Books Pro ... the printer will not accept print request for checks, but will print documents such as payroll updates. Suggestions?

I can't be sure about this, I use an older version of QB but have you tried going to File/Printer Setup?
In my older version there's a setup for each form
Sounds like you might have changes the check configuration at some point.
Hope this gets you started in the right direction

Won't print

Try the following steps:

Check for and remove any grayscale settings. Use the following steps to check this setting.
  1. In the program, click File and then click Print . The Print dialog box opens.
  2. Select the correct product and then click Properties . The Properties dialog box opens.
  3. Click the Color tab.
  4. Check the Print in Grayscale setting. If necessary, unselect the setting.
  5. Click OK to save the settings.
If this doesnot work:

    1. Open the Printer Toolbox .
    2. Open HP Solution Center .
    3. Click Settings .
    4. Click Print Settings .
    5. Click Printer Toolbox .
Now Click the Estimated Ink Levels tab. This will tell u that the cartridge might be running out of ink even if the graphic shows that there is ink remaining in the cartridge.Lines or streaks always appear in printouts when the cartridges begin to run out of ink. Replace print cartridges that are out of ink or low on ink.
  • If this doesnot work:
  • If the Print in grayscale option is not the problem and the print cartridges are not low on ink, print and evaluate a self-test page to determine if the cartridges or printer is causing the problem.
    1. Load the input tray with unused plain white paper.
    2. Press and hold the Cancel button and then press the Start Copy Color button.
    3. Release both buttons. The self-test page prints.
This will definitely work for u.
    Thank u.
