Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Fender Cyber-Twin amp, version 1.2

I'd like to make use of PatchWizard presets but that requires CT version 1.3. Is there a firmware or software download to get me to 1.3?

Hi PSumac

Here is a PDF of how to upgrade your amp.

It does involve changing a ROM chip in the amp, so it is more of a hardware upgrade to get the new firmware into your rig. The upgrade ROM can be ordered through a Fender dealer closest to you.

I am more than happy to answer any other questions you may have about it, just give me a hoy :) If you are still unsure, or have problems, then before you give a rating for this advice, please get back to me and we can try some more things.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Thai will require removal of the top cover to move jumpers or program dip switches in proper order. This will be explained in the owners manual which is located at Krells web site.

Footpedal for a Fender Princeton 112 plus amp

This one SHOULD work... use a plain 1/4 inch speaker cable to connect to the amp.

Please note that information is sparse...

I would recommend calling Musicians Frien.com or Same Day music.com and have them verify if this will work.

I have a Fender Cyber Twin, first generation and lately it has been sounding more and more like the input cable or jack has a short. The sound is not full, very thin and at times tinny, like a volume pot...

Hiya cant be certain but sounds alot like the pots are worn or could be dry joints (bad solder connections) Suggest you get it to someone who knows how to solder etc. Shouldn't be to much to get sorted

My fender twin has alot of buzzing and hum noise

It is usually caused by interference somewhere in the room. A major source is art CRT such as a TV ot computer monitor. First try turning off any other electic devices in the room. Your could also see if there is a ground lift switch on the amp. If that dosen't do it, you can try lining the cavity of your guitar with tin foil. I t sounds weird but it does cut back on some interference. If none of those work, bring your amp to your local tech and have the preamp tubes tested. It may be that one of them is going bad.
