No power

I have a GR-D90U. I hooked up my VCR and AC power to record some old tapes. The picture showed on camcorder's monitor when I pressed PLAY/RECORD, a message flashed: "...unlock tap” and seconds later the camcorder died. No power, nothing works and I can't even eject the cassette with / without the battery. It experienced condensation problem earlier and I been keeping it in camera bag all the time. Please help.
