Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: My email address is t_barman@sbcglobal.net

  1. What email program are you using? Entourage (Microsoft) or Mail (Apples pre-installed Mail program).
  2. What is the Postcode of your suburb?
Generally, the mail settings are something like :

POP Settings
  • INCOMING: pop.sbcglobal.net
  • OUTGOING: smtp.sbcglobal.net

OR
  • INCOMING: mail.sbcglobal.net
  • OUTGOING: mail.sbcglobal.net

You can try both of these out. If one of them works, let me know (and rate).

If they don't, then reply back with your postcode number so I can retrieve the settings for you.

Regards,

You must contact your server by phone.Or pay an internet cafe a few pence and email your server and tell them you need instructions sent to you on how to do it.By the way have you set up an internet connection? If yes go to your server email button see what happens here.If it says can't connect to server you've got to set up an email service on your new computer.Go to tools on the internet explorer or whoever your browser is,and first make sure your home page is in the top box.i.e.www.virginmedia.com.If youe using XP on the new computer you should have an email link on your destop or press start button and it should be at the top of that page.Click onto it and follow the instructions.But......you have to have to be connected to the internet.

SOURCE: I am not tech smart.

The only way you can retrieve this facebook is to either log into or remember which email you have set it up with then go through password recovery right from the login page. They have several recovery options...

If you dont remember the password from the email account they also have a password recovery procedure you can go through...

Heres facebooks...

https://www.facebook.com/recover.php

From here you actually have several options, if you have a phone number registered to your account or with your account you may have the password or a unlock key text to your device

Tell me why I'm getting failure notices when I have not sent an email?

First of all, you CAN get a delivery failure notice for emails which you did not send. More than likely a spammer is sending spam emails to multiple recipients and your email address is used by the spammer as the sender. They don't need access to your email to do it - they can spoof any address they like. The bad news is, you really cannot do anything to stop it. The good news is, it usually goes away after several weeks as the spammer stop spoofing your sender address and move on to others.

Non-delivery notification "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients" sending e-mail to contacts

This assumes that SOME recipients are getting the messages. If so, go your address book and find the addresses for the failed recipients. Then edit or delete and reenter them when you are sure you have the correct information

I can't get my email changed from mronnebaum@yahoo.com to mronnebaum@sbcglobal.net It keeps telling that it is already taken.have tried several times. Please HELP

By already taken it may be referring to aleady taken by you. If you had previously attempted to make the change and then for some reason got interrupted the @sbcglobal.net address was reserved. Try changin one character in the new address the contact site support to have it changed.

Can recieve e mails, cannot send or reply to in-comming mail.all messages come up as failed delivery.no problem when first connected

1. Change the settings in your email software so that the email account you're using designates an Outgoing Email Service that your internet service provider won't block. Your internet service provider should provide you with the address of an acceptable Outgoing SMTP Mail Server. This information is often listed on their website; if it isn't, call their technical support and ask them the address of their Outgoing Email Server. Then go into your email software and change your current Outgoing SMTP Address to the one your ISP requires.
2. After you designate a SMTP address not restricted by your ISP, you may still receive the following error:
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC78
Now you are reaching the Outgoing SMTP Mail Server, but it won't process your request without further authorization. You will need to go into your Email Software and find the setting that indicates that your Outgoing SMTP requires further authorization. Select this setting and enter the username and password required by your ISP (or reqired by who ever is the administrator of the Outgoing SMTP Mail Server that's not blocked by your ISP). For example, at the time this article was written MSN Internet Service's SMTP Address was: (secure.smtp.email.msn.com). However, this email server won't allow you to use it unless you send your MSN username and password along with your request to send email.

Why do I get a "Failed Delivery" message?

When you get mail from a "MAILER-DAEMON" or a "Mail Delivery Subsystem" with a subject similar to "Failed Delivery," this means that a message you sent was undeliverable and has been "bounced" back to you.

These messages are produced automatically and usually include a reason for the delivery failure.

Bounced messages normally consist of two parts. The first contains the reason for the bounce; the second contains your original message.

The most common reason for a failed delivery is that the email address you entered isn't valid.

If the Mailer Daemon says that the account doesn't exist, double-check the spelling of the address you entered.

A single misplaced letter can be enough to cause a failed delivery. If the message continues to be bounced back to you, you might want to verify that the account hasn't been closed or moved.

If there's a different reason given and you'd like us to investigate it, just let us know.

If you can copy and paste the reason given for the failed delivery into the message you send us, it will be very helpful as we attempt to determine why your message bounced.

Blocking email

The ISP provider changed our IP address when we reset the modem.(even though they swear it was a fixed IP) The mailguard delivery address is fixed so the redirected mail from mailgaurd no longer had a valid address for delivery.
You can fix this by correcting the mailguard delivery IP address (phone them in business hours) or by providing Mailguard with a name address instead of an IP address .

Simple but frustrating until you think of checking to see if the IP addresses of your server and mailguard match
