Question about Intertherm Heating & Cooling
I will have to assume a couple of things here that I do not know for sure....correct me if my assumptions are wrong...
The furnace and the blower come on at the same time but the heat will shut off and the blower keeps on running...when the thermostat is satisfied....
To do this either the fan switch is turned on at the thermostat.... or the "R" and the "G" wires are shorted together...
Or... the switch that turns on the fan when the heat exchanger gets hot is stuck in the "on" position or is closed...this makes the fan run all the time....
Or something is shorted in the high voltage circuit so that the fan gets power all the time....
To find the exact cause of the problem you will need to trace back and find where the power is coming from and why.... this will need to be done with an electrical meter....
Be careful and disconnect power when working with the furnace circuits...
