Drum barely spinning, maybe the belt is worn?

Is it just the spin cycle or all the way through?
Could be worn or loose or both. Does it spin without a load in the manchine. Do you hear the motor running at a higher pitch than normal (means it's running without any load to it) or does it sound the same? Worse senario, If the motor is an "Indution Motor" then a coil may have gone o/c. If it is a brush motor (if you hear sparking)could need new brushes

My dryer will not spin

If you can hear the motor running but the drum is not spinning then you probably have a broken belt. If the motor is not running could be anything from a bad door switch to a bad motor. Hope this helps

AGITATOR WILL NOT SPIN, WATER WILL DRAIN BUT NO SPIN

Does your motor sound like it is running in the agitate or spin cycle or is it quite? If the motor makes no sound, then you need to replace the lid switch with this part.
If you hear the motor running in the agitate or spin cycle but you don't see any action, then replace the motor coupler with this part.

Won't spin anymore. Comes on, but barrell won't spin. dead motor?

Do you hear the motor running? It may just be a broken belt. If it is in fact the motor it can be replaced.

GE washer wssr2070v1 will not spin.

If you hear the motor running but nothing is happening then check the belt on the bottom of the machine and the brake to make sure that the belt is not broken or stretched and also that the brake is not holding the drum

Drain pump starts and stops prior to final spin cycle

Jayron, is the motor jogging? start to spin, stop, start to spin stop. If so, your motor is jogging between the high and low start windings. The motor during spin should start on the high speed windings and stay there until most of the water is drained. GE came out with a new motor, harness and run cap because of this. If you have a meter, there should be a white and white/red wire going to the motor. If you have a steady 120V and it's doing this jogging, replace the motor with the kit...Let me know if this the issue, Catriver..post back.
