This may indicate a bad fitting lid, or the sensor (more likely) is faulty or is giving false readings to the main board. The safety switch used on the lid, is malfunctioning, sometimes they are magnetic, others a switch, you need to obtain a service manual for your exact make and model. this has troubleshooting steps and parts numbers too.
