I plugged a 30 amp power supply cord from an rv to a 15 amp house outlet to run a/c to rv . gfci tripped and wont reset. damaged gfci or something else?

A GFI outlet works independently of sensing an overload condition. Overloads are dealt with by the circuit breaker or fuse in your electrical panel. The GFI simply compares the current on the hot terminal (black or red wire) with the current on the neutral terminal (white or gray wire) and interrupts the current if there is more than 5mA (0.005 Amps) difference between the two.

Remove the load - in this case the RV plug - from the GFI outlet and attempt a reset. Make sure you're pressing the RESET button and not the TEST button. If it resets - you're all set. Reconnect the RV plug to a different outlet - preferably NOT a GFI type.

If it still wont reset, it is important to know that GFI outlets can be wired in such a way that any circuit extended to other outlets (lights, too) via the LOAD terminal screws will also be protected by the GFI. We need to be sure that there wasn't something else causing the fault. Check other nearby outlets for functionality. Remove plugs from any outlet found not working and attempt to reset again.

If it will not reset - it is possible that the internal sensing circuitry has been damaged due to such a large amount of current trying to pass. In this case, replacing the GFI outlet will be needed.

Wash stops and F21 shows on the time remaining. Unable to open door. Have to unplug wait plug back in. When able to open cloths are still very wet

Once again, I have to start my response with a note that we need the make and model to help you with these things. Different manufacturers use the same code to mean entirely different things. This code for instance will mean one of the following:

Type: KenmoreHE2t,
Fault: Pump out fault. Check the pump is working or the outlet for blockages
Type: whirlpool (not every model),
Fault: Faulty control board.Check wiring connections, replace board.
Type: Standard,
Fault: Faulty thermistor reading. Ambient temperature could be too low or it could be the thermistor or wiring

If you can give me some mke and model information, I'll do my best to be more specific and helpful :)

After about fifteen minuetsof playing it turns it self off it also feels warm to the touch

Solid green or solid orange light: Your power supply is working.

Flashing orange, solid red, or no light: Your power supply may need to be replaced. Try the following solutions:
  1. Try plugging your console's power supply into a different electrical outlet. Do not use a surge protector.
  2. If the power supply light is solid red or flashing orange, unplug the power supply and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then, plug the power supply back into the outlet.
There is no crack or damage done to it right?
Also try plugging it into the wall dirteclty no surge or power strip and let it lay flat

What does wiring fault light mean?

The Site Wiring Fault LED will indicate three status:
• Led On: The site wiring fault function is enabled and a site wiring fault is present.
• Led Off: The site wiring fault function is disabled.
• Led Flash: The Site wiring fault function is enabled and there is no site wiring fault.

When the input power is normal the Site wiring fault LED will flash.
• To disable this function, press the Site wiring fault LED button for 10 sec when the UPS is plugged in to wall power and the UPS is off.
• To enable this function, press the Site wiring fault LED button for 10 sec when the UPS is plugged in to wall power and the UPS is off.

Is the wiring fault light indicator lit? This means that the outlet that the unit is connected to is either not properly grounded, or has reversed wiring. First, try connecting the unit to another outlet. If the unit does not display the wiring fault light in the new outlet you will need to have an electrician correct the problem with the other faulty outlet. If it still displays the wiring fault more troubleshooting will be necessary to determine the cause

Batteries don't charge. I have a new battery, and neither of the old or new batteries work in the charger. I get flashing lights only, sometimes red, sometimes green, but in the end, the battery isn't...

Dust getting in the charger is a problem, Try blowing it out with a moisture-free dust remover, found at most any store. Green flashing means improper power, due to dust or power from the outlet, try a differant wall outlet. Red flashing means the charger or battery is to hot and must cool down before it will charge. The charger will not charge a battery if the lights are flashing. Solid Red light means it is charging and solid green light means it is charged. Plug the charger in first before putting the battery on the charger. If the charger has been droped or hit the floor the coil inside could have broke loose and dammaged the charger requiring it to be replaced.

Unplug All External Devices Unplug the AC Adapter From the Wall Outlet. Disconnect the AC Adapter From the Laptop Reseated the power cable to the adapter.
Remove the Battery Connect the AC Adapter Directly to a Known Good Outlet, But Not to the Computer Verify That the AC Power Adapter Has a Solid Green or Blue Light.
The AC adapter status light is solid green. The AC adapter status light is solid green.Press the Power Button and Check for POST. Post means if you see the dell logo, remove the battery, plug the ac if still it wont turn on or doesnt have any light,Reseat the Memory if after reseatting the memory still the same problem it might be a bad motherboard.

Power Light blinking, no reaction...help?

its possible that the router is not getting enough power, make sure that the power adapter that it's using the original power adapter that came with I think its 12v 1Am, you can plug it to a different power outlet, or better yet plug it back to where it was plugged in before. If the light will go solid again the it could be a problem with the power that it's gettign. If it will still flash then it's a fault with the router's firmware. click here to see how you can resolve it.

Help with my liebert powersure interactive 1000?

The wiring fault light indicates that the polarity of your power outlet is wrong (positive and negative wires have been inverted) or that the ground is missing/faulty.

This have nothing to do with the configuration of the UPS. Unfortunately (for liability reasons), I have to tell you that the only person who can fix that is an electrician.

Just for testing, try plugging it into another power outlet elsewhere in your house to see if it is any different.
