Question about Computers & Internet
Depending on your brand of hard drive if its western digital remove all jumpers and put on the master cable only, if it is alone,if there is another drive on the same cable then put jumper on master jumper which on western digital is in the center of the pin group,, your problem sounds like a jumper on the hard drive problem not a repair problem, i would look on the hard drive whichever brand and see jumper settings and make sure also that your jumper is good ,,,good luck I hope this helped
