It is never safe to open your camera if you don't know what you're doing and don't have the proper tools. You will void the warranty if it is still in effect. What exactly is the problem?

Laptop goes to the launch program and normal start up but when you launch any one the screen comes on and stays blank ?

See if screen is okay when booting to cmos or to safe mode. Can be spyware causing this. Should not affect cmos screen and may not affect safe mode screen (hit F8 repeatedly when booting to bring up safe mode choices). Run Malwarebytes in safe mode.

Video card

To ensure it is just not your display settings, go to Safe Mode and see if you have the same problem.
Two scenarios; either the display adapter is malfunctioning and it's not easy to fix, or your lcd does have a minor crack which may not affect the glass cover (which is a separate piece).

How to open nokia n73's parts

Hi,

In order to disassemble a Nokia N73 phone first of all you need to remove the battery cover (back cover) of the phone. Then remove the battery, memory card and the SIM card.

Pry up the front cover frame by using the safe open pry tool. It is recommended to start from either of the bottom corners of the phone. First insert the safe open pry tool between the cover and the keypad of the phone to unhook the clip underneath. Do not apply too much pressure as this may damage the front cover. You can use Triangle Safe Open Pry Tool in conjunction with Safe Open Pry Tool for prying up the cover frame safely and conveniently.

Do the same to unclip the clip from the other side. Once you have undone the clips, run the tool gently along the sides of the cover to unclip all the clips. This should remove the cover without much difficulty.

Now you need to remove the display shield which holds the LCD screen in place. You need to pry the display shield up using the safe open pry tool to unlock the clips holding it in place.

Once you have the display shield removed, the next step is to remove the LCD which will now be loose enough to be lifted up. Gently lift up the LCD using the safe open pry tool but be very careful as you still have to remove a ribbon cable to be able to free the LCD. To disconnect this cable you need to gently lift it and it will pop out.

Once you have disconnected the ribbon cable, the LCD can now be lifted up and removed. Your Nokia N73 is now disassembled.

Reverse the instructions above to reassemble your phone.

Please let me know if you need more assistance.

Regards.

Are my tr-2810 tower speakers shielded? Will they ruin my television?

if you are using lcd monitor then it will not do any damage to it. however, if it is a crt type of monitor then yes it can or may damage the monitor. if the speakers do not that they are shielded then you should assume that they are not and should be placed away from the crt monitor because the speakers magnetic field will affect the crt magnetic filed used to display the picture on the screen. speakers with high magnetic fields and are unshielded should kept away from crt type monitors! lcd monitors do not use magnetic fields to bring a picture to the screen so it will not affect these types of monitors.
you nay also check your user's or owner's manual for more information on you speakers and maybe check any of the manufactures web site as well. but it better safe the sorry to keep the speakers away from the monitor in question.

POWER IS ON UPON START UP BUT AFTER INITIATING TO DESKTOP MENU,NO SCREEN IS ABLE TO SEE BUT WHEN I ENTER CTRL,ALT&DELETE THE PARAMETERS HAS SCREEN.PLEASE HELP.

Hi,

This may cause by an electrical charge in the motherboard itself,Im not really sure how it affects the display of the computer. There's also a possibility that the problem is with the LCD cable or the LCD itself. Please follow this method since it usually fix such problem like that,

1.Removed the battery then unplugged the AC adapter

2.Press and hold the power button or the ON/OFF button for at least 30 seconds

3.Connect the power supply back to your computer then turn it back on.

4. Check if you will see any difference.

5. If nothing happens, try to press and hold Fn and F2 on the keyboard.

If nothing happens, there is a possibility that the problem is with the LCD or monitor itself, maybe it will need a replacement...

I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa...

Gray LCD Screen

http://www.sony.ca/sonyca/view/english/warranty/productalert2.shtml
When the product is used in camera mode, the liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and/or electronic viewfinder displays either a distorted image or no image at all.

Sony Corporation has determined that this condition occurs very rarely, but may be accelerated if an affected product is exposed to high temperature and/or high humidity environments.

In an effort to ensure customer satisfaction, Sony of Canada Ltd. has elected to offer, effective October 3, 2005, free out-of-warranty repair to owners of affected Sony digital camera, camcorder and PDA products that exhibit the aforementioned condition caused by the image sensor device.
