Check to make sure that no other application is use the isight webcam first. Go to your Applications folder > Utilities > Activity Monitor.
click the drop down menu and make sure that it is showing "All Processes".
Search for any application that might be using the isight webcam. click to highlight the application and then click the big red quit process at the top light.

I have formatted internal memory and lost photos from camers

Formatting generally does that. Check to see if there is some software that can restore them. If the area where the photos were has been overwritten by other files then the answer is definitely no.

Photo booth

Are you sure the unit has a camera? If it does did you disable the camera? If not check anyway. If it still doesn't work take to an apple store.

How do i turn off my built in camera on my macbook?

Exit any programs using the iSight camera to turn it off. Programs like Photo Booth and some VOIP software will automatically turn the camera on when started. Some programs, like iChat, will turn the camera off when the active window is closed, even if the program is still running. The green LED light next to the iSight lens will turn off when not in use to indicate it has been disabled.

My built in camera will not work with skype. i tried to do a video call with a friend but the camera will not turn on when i pressed the video call button.

The only thing that I can think of is that you also have something else open that is using the camera. Does the camera show up in Photo Booth or ichat? Do you have ichat open at the same time as Skype. Make sure you close ichat, photobooth, and Skype (and anything else that uses a camera) and then re-open only Skype. If you have something else open that uses the camera when you open Skype, Skype will be unable to use the camera.

I use a mac laptop and i bought the mac version of logitech webcam pro 9000. It works well with photo booth but when i try skype it switches back to my built in camera????

You need to select the correct camera from the menu options of Skype: enter the Tools-menu and select Options; select Video from the categories on the left hand side; check  Enable Skype Video and select your camera from the dropdown at the top.

Skymaster webcam microphone not working !

alot of ppl have problems with this, if u are using a laptop, most laptops factories' have a default setting to pick up the microphphone and camera (seperately) thats built in to the laptop, and urs probly doesnt have a mic or a camera built in, so u put the camer on the laptop plug it in and the only reason why the camera works is cuz when u installed it, it switched form default. u can go to ur control pannel and see if u can fix it. if not, u might be SOL. and check and make sure there isnt a mute button or sumthing silly to that extent
