Question about Vacuums

2 Answers

I have purchased a used Saeco Royal Professional. Model is SUP 016 RE. Serial No. 9005ROY0539271. Manufactured 02/2005. On power up, after the self test, the display reads "COFFEE DISPENS. BLOCKED". I believe the problem is to do with a vending code, which is unknown to the seller (estate sale) or the purchaser - me. It looks like a great machine. I guess I need a 'Master Reset Code'. My nearest authorized repair center is four hours drive away. Please help as I am unable to use my machine. Regards, John Kuiters

    Hi,

This solution did not work. After pressing the cappucino button, the machine's pump started for a couple seconds then same message on display. "COFFEE DISPENS. BLOCKED".

    Regards,

    John

    Pressing "Cappucino" did not help.

    Problem is unresolved.

    Thank you emissionwiz.
I have contacted Saeco Australia, they won't help me! They suggested contacting an authorised repairer. The repairer advised get the machine to them for a microprocessor replacement, cost - upwards of $300.00!
For a machine that's nearly six years old, I won't spend that and risk having more expensive problems down the track. I think Saeco Australia should have been more helpful. Put me right off buying another Saeco product!
    Cheers,
    John

Hello
This is a secure code and only the manufacturer of the machine can provide a reset code, it is meant to keep unauthorized persons from accessing the machine, so it would never be available from any site like this one or fro that matter on the internet, sorry but you must contact the manufacture, there is just no way around this, if there was I would be more than happy to supply the information to you in a Ney York minute..

I need a manual for Royal Dirt Devil Model #513, Signature Series, black hand vac, serial #K93B 106091.

May a have been a so called exclusive item made for just one retailer. It will probably be the same as another red model but just made in black for the company who wanted a exclusive model. Its a common practice in the field of domestic appliances. So find the closest red one and get a manual for that. Or if you are adamant you want the manual for a black one, find out who sold them and see what they say.
Good Luck

We have a saeco royal coffee machine and the dredgedraw has excessive water normally ground coffee is dry , how do we fix it??

its a great coffee machine, isnt it? we have it in the office serving for 7 years now.
this usally means one of the seal is broken. get the saeco person to replace all the seals at once.
this will prevent more leakages in the future.

Just picked up the vacuum - any idea the dates of production on a G4 Anniversary Edition?

The 10 digit serial number on ALL G series Kirbys (G3, G4, G5, G6, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition and Sentria) is engraved into the aluminum on the side of the Kirby, right above where the cloth bag attaches to the machine. This serial number contains the EXACT manufacture date of the machine.
The first number in the serial number will be a 1, 2, 3 or 4 and pertains to the quarter of the year in which the machine was manufactured. The second and third number is the year of manufacture.
FOR EXAMPLE.... in the serial number 1071104984, the machine was manufactured in the first quarter of the year 2007.
The G4 models were manufactured from 1993-96.
My G4 80th Anniversary edition doesn't seem to fit this, however. It's 8941106700. I suspect it's got a replacement handle.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. You can always call the Royal factory and they can send you out a warranty card or the cust serv dept can do it over the phone, you would need the brand name, Model # and serial # in order to register the factory warranty. Other wais as a rule you have a one year factory warranty with your customer receipt as proof of purchase or you can call the factory.

So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
