I entered the wrong pin 3 times as i got a new phone today and didnt get the pin with it,.. now i cant get in at all and need to enter a puk code which i cant get,..... Can u please give me the code for my LG GS101 yours sincerlly lisa

When you enter PIN code 3 time wrong, your phone is asking for PUK code. When you enter a PUK code, the phone will ask for new PIN, you should tipe some 4-digit code which you will remember, then verify them. After that your sim card is working again. Caution: Be carefull if you enter a PUK code 9 time wrong you will crashed your sim card and then you must contact your network operator for information about replacement your sim card. PIN and PUK code is coming with your sim card, but if you didnt keep that you also need to contact your network operator about your codes.

When you Enter the wrong PIN code 3 times the SIM gets locked and asks for a PUK, which is Pin Unlocking Code. Please do not try to Guess the PUK. If you Enter a Wrong PUK 10 times, your SIM will be corrupted and we will not be able to use it again ( whatever you try) .

The PUK can easily be obtained from the service provider free of charge. You just need to call the Customer care of your service provider and they will give you the PUK against your Number.

note: there is no other way to get a PUK.

You may enter wrong PIN three (3) times only. After that your PIN will be blocked! To unblock, you need PUK. You can only enter wrong PUK ten (10) times. (This is as documented) After entering correct PUK, you will be asked for NEW PIN.

So, when it says "PIN blocked. Enter PUK code", you must enter the PUK. If you correctly enter the PUK, it will asked for new PIN, by asking "Enter new PIN code:". Enter anything you want as your PIN. You will be asked to enter it twice (two times).
From what I read from your post, you have done correctly, but you don't want to enter new PIN. There is no way SIM card/phone will use old PIN. The device doesn't know your PIN. So, you have to enter new PIN.

you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times now you are required to enter a puk code to reset the pin code. 

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code. 


if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.

If it is a pin lock not a security lock phone up your mobile provider they can give you a puk code then enter your pin wrong 3 times then it will ask you for a puk code then put the puk code that network gave you and then ya can reset your pin.if your on o2 you can get the puk code on line

if you enter the wrong pin code for 3 times your sim will get blocked ...
it will ask for the puk code ...
then you must call to the customer care of your network provider and you must tell them that your pin got blocked you want the puk code ...
they may ask for the details of your sim card be sure to tell it ..

then they will provide the puk code note it down and enter into it ..
your sim will get unlocked...

if you enter the wrong puk code for more than 3 or 10 times the sim will get fully blocked if then you must contact to network provider shoppe....

puk number is given by the network provider ....

i think you blocked the pin code by entering the wrong pin code for 3 times so it is asking for the puk code ..

to get puk code you must follow these steps :

1. call to your network provider customer care

2. tell them that your pin code got blocked you want puk code

3. if they ask any details about the sim card owner you answer that one ...

4. then make a note of the puk code and enter in to your cell
