Where the fuel lines go on a mcculloch 2.0 2014 chainsaw

The return line needs to inserted only about an inch into the tank as it is only returning fuel and not picking up fuel. Note some these return lines on other models have a line coupler on the end to prevent from coming back out.

What kind of fuel i need for my older mc culloch chainsaw-1:25 or 1:50?

To be on the safe side i would use 25-1, it will not harm the machine, just smoke a little more.

I have a 18" mcculloch mac 5 evolution Chainsaw

You should run the saw on a 50-1 fuel oil mix, with an oil from a known chainsaw manufacturer and recommended for 50-1, this machine was an Italian built product sold under many different model names, Titanium 460,Partner 538, California, i am sure if you surf the net you will find one. If you cant find one post me your e mail address and i will send you one.

Chainsaw runs great initially but stalls after 1-3 minutes

If is seems very hot STOP. It is probably running lean and continuing will destroy it (what fuel/oil ratio are you using? 32:1 probably safe). When it starts to sputter if necessary roll it to the side and loosen the fuel cap. Did it smooth out (plugged fuel vent)? Please give me the model and serial numbers (small tag usually on underside) and I can probably find an IPL (exploded parts list) to help us both. Lou

I have a McCulloch 3516 chainsaw and need advice on how to adjust the carburator. It starts but runs for a short time and dies.

You say runs a short time, seconds or minutes ? Seconds could be carb setting, minutes could be fuel mix ratio. let me know.

Gas to oil ratio for a McCulloch power mac 310

When in doubt 40:1 is the always safe mix for any 2 stroke, synthetic oils 50+:1 use there recommendations. Always use the same(premium quality) 2 stroke oil to avoid fuel issues.
