Hello

If the washer shuts down before spin cycle it indicates that it is unable to drain properly. Please check the drain hose/drain pump filter for any clogs/blockages and try cleaning them to solve this problem. Also after cleaning check if the pump is working fine.

WHY ON MY MAYTAG EPIC WHEN IT GETS TO SPIN IT JUST MAKES DRAINING NOISE AND WATER WONT DRAIN?

Sounds like your drain line is clogged. You may also have stuff clogging a water filter just before the pump, or the water outlet coming from the drum.
It could also be a problem with the pump, but until the drain line is opened up, you still won't be able to empty the water from the washer.

Hi i have a Ariston avl 125 and my problem is that i start my machine and i wont stop again.... i just keep on spining ..... it takes in wather but keeps on spining at 2. wash..... hope that you can...

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If this is a timer controller type then the contacts or the function to move on is faulty and needs a replacement. The inlet valve works to allow water and then the motor is struck on and not moving to the next cycle. Test the controller to confirm, check with a similar type before you order for one.

Fills with water, drains, will not spin. sometimes will not fill

This is almost certainly the filter to the empty pump blocked. When you power up the machine, the first thing it does is make sure there is no water left over in the tub, if it can't evacuate any water it finds there, it won't go any further. Same on a spin, if after a set time the water hasn't emptied the empty cycle will stop but the spine cycle wont start because there is still water in the drum.

Locate and clean your empty pump filter.

Water is not drining from the machine and when i drain it by hand i then start the machine it brings the water in but does not start the wash the eco and fast light come on flashing what can i do to solve...

shut iff the water disconnect the drain line and clean out the drain pull the entire unit out and disconnect the drain that goes into the drain pump clean and make sure there is nothing clogged in the drain line. remove the drain pump and do a bench test on the drain pump to assure the impellar is spining on the inside of the drain pump. Reconnect your unit but leave the drain line going into a large bucket turn on the water supply press for the unit to start its cycle after a couple minutes then press and hold cancel for three seconds this puts the unit into the drain function while the unit is draining the water observe how strong the flow of water is going into the bucket. If when you observe the impellar you do not see the impellar spining then replace the drain pump most likely you have something caught in the drain line of where the line plugs into your sink area. If you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in simiilar situations in the future Thanks Rick

The cold water keeps running in the rinse cycle. it nrver fills up it drains out as it flows in

you kind of lost me with that one, but the washer should spray in cold water when in the rince cycle , spining , draining, and spray of cold water. Thats a normal rince.

Washert not draining

If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line might be clogged.  In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump. You already have replaced the pump motor and still no operation,  so check the power voltage to the pump during the drain cycle.   Verify the problem is not pump related as much as power to the pump being the problem.

My washer wont empty out while spining.

The drain line is probably clogged. Maybe that a small sock or other piece of clothing get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump. To remove it from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub and try to remove the clothing through the port. Good luck
