1. Try a different USB port. If other ports recognize it, then the original port is fried. 2. Try a different computer. If the other computer does not recognize it, then your flash drive is damaged.

My flash drive will not open on any computer. It won't even show up. The little red light is still on however.


one do you have anti virus running in to your pc?
if the flash driver is not working any more you only cant recover your files using a software

I am not able to use my dane elec 4gb Flash Drive. I used it the night before but now the computer/system does not recognize it.


control panel admistrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question mark? right click to reinstall drivers or right click select properties general troubleshoot or driver to uninstall,disable,roll back driver

I have a Dane-Elec 4gb thumb drive. First one i bought worked for a while then kept saying error. so i returnd it .. got a new one, and now it wont open anything at all or even register that its in there. ...


Try connecting it to a different computer.
If it still does not work, take it back, and get the store to verify that it works,
by plugging it into one of their "demonstration" computers,
or get them to replace it.

Missing driver for dane elec 4gb usb flash pen (Operating system XP)


No zMate Pen driver is necessary to work out with Windows Millenium, Windows 2000, Windows XP and MAC OS 9.1 and more: they are plug and play.
