Question about Krups Espresso Novo 4000
In the filter carrier (the handle thing) is a small o ring. I think it keeps the filter pressurised which helps create crema. After a while the o ring gets pulled out of shape and doesn't let anything through. Remove the screw in the top filter, pull out the steel filter, the plastic disc under that (might need to pry it out) and you will see the mis-shaped o ring. You can get a replacement from an appliance repair place. I have just read today that you can also just leave it out - but you will need to tamp the coffee (squash it down) more. Hope this helps.
