You can press in on it, then it should pop out a little to be removed. Otherwise try tweezers or needle nose. Most have to be pushed in first so then it pops out.

Computer cant find USB drivers for Nikon d3000

Forget about drivers for your computer. Buy an inexpensive (under $20) USB SD flash memory card reader and connect it to your USB port. Remove the SD memory card from your camera and insert it in the card reader. Open Finder if you have a Mac or My Computer for a PC. You will see your memory displayed just as if it were an external hard drive. Open the files on the SD card and copy them to a file on your hard drive. It is that simple. Professionals use this method. We almost never download directly from the camera.

My memory card is of sandisk ultra 64 gb nd its is empty.. but when i format it on camera(nikon 3000) it says card full.. plz help what to do. Thank You.

You need to use a card compatible with the D3000.

The D3000 works with SD cards (up to 2GB) and with SDHC cards (up to 32GB). It does not work with SDXC cards (larger than 32GB).

My 64 gb memory card keeps saying full on my Nikon D3000, but yet it won't let me take pictures. It's brand new, and has nothing on it. But yet, when i format the card, it does nothing. Please help?

I may be mistaken but I think that 32 Gb is the most any Nikon can handle. I suggest that you contact Nikon technical support at www.Nikon.com and discuss this with them. They can confirm the maximum size of the SD card and help you troubleshoot if the 64 Gb card is OK.

Have a new D3000, full battery. Camera will not turn on. Purchased a replacement battery still no power, HELP....

Hi there,

I`ve experienced the same problem as yours before,
it was caused by the main IC power supply

If the item is still in warranty condition,
You can claim the warranty from the store where you bought it
They will changed a new DSLR

Nikon d3000 Trying to preview the photo prior to clicking the picture. Display only shows a black screen until I click.

On most new DSLR cameras, you must activate "live view" to see the picture on the screen before you take it. Check your manual.

I have a tokina SD 35-200mm it fits my nikon F301 will it be compatable with a nikon D 3000 dslr

Only one way to find out for certain, try it and see!

It will certainly fit onto your D3000 without causing it any harm but it probably won't work properly either. There's also the little problem of crop factors: your D3000 has a smaller imaging surface than your 35mm film camera. As a result, it only uses the middle of the image produced by this lens; it will appear as if the camera has a 50-300mm (52.5-300mm to be really accurate) lens fitted instead of the 35-200mmm.
