SOUND AUDIO I sell recently a new motherboard GA-8VM800PMD-775 and when I instal it in my PC, it's no sound out. are there need an audio driver?

Did you mean bought? your new motherboard should come with cd. if your soud and video is on board, that cd is your driver for your hardware.

I have problem with sounds. I install other drivers and its work ok, but for audio doesnt. OS is XP sp3. My motherboard is s-775 GA-8I945GZME-RH

make sure that you have selected the right speakers
control panel sounds and audio,volume you can adjust the volume or advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll to sound,video and game cotrollers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers

If you need sound
1. You have to install UAA(Universal Audio Architecture).Click Here to Downlaoad it .
2. Then if you dont have the audio driver you can download it from here

I instaled windows then the audio driver doesn't work

May be problem on your audio setting,i mean front panal audio setting jumper

I have lost the sound in my PC. Can i download a new soundcard?

Well, you can't really download a sound card. :-)

But you can download the driver for the audio chip on your motherboard.

Go to this site:

GA-8SG800 Drivers

Download and install the Audio driver.

Gigabyte GA-8VM800PMD-775 @ 1.5gb memory

This is the website link for your board on gigabyte website. Suggest you have a faulty piece of ram or a clock speed miss-match. your board supports up to 2gb of memory.Try also reseating the memory. Let me know how you get on? chris
