This happens when you get new one or after reset. It wants from you, to touch 5 points on the screen to calibrate touch screen.
Start acer without connecting usb cable and calibrate it first.

My TV (42" Full HD

Hi,

Yes you can - but not with a USB cable. USB is only for data (file) transfer.

What you are attempting to do is use your TV as a PC monitor, therefore it needs to be connected to your TV using a PC monitor cable (15-pin D-SUB/VGA). You will also need a separate audio cable from your PC to your TV if you want to use the TV speakers for audio. If you are using a receiver or amplifier with external speakers, you can connect the audio out from the PC directly to the amplifier/receiver.

It is also possible to connect the PC to the TV with an HDMI cable if your PC has an HDMI out port. However, some TVs wont accept an HDMI signal from a PC and this method of connection can cause other issues, so I would recommend using the PC monitor cable method.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

Usb handy cam is invalid when i connect my camcorder to my pc

Option 1:

If you want to use the USB cable to connect the Camcorder to the Computer to transfer the video to the Computer then:

(Applicable for Vista Operating System Only.)

This Camcorder does not support USB streaming with the VISTA Operating System. Use an i.LINK cable to transfer the video to the Computer. The i.LINK port is also called IEEE 1394 or Firewire port.(An i.LINK is a black D shaped connector with 4 or 6 pins. The type ofcable to be used will depend on the i.LINK port of your Computer. TheSony Camcorder will have the 4 pin i.LINK cable and if the computer hasthe 6 pin i.LINK port, then you may have to use the 4 pin to 6 pini.LINK Cable).

You can use any video capturing software like Windows Movie Maker to transfer the video from the Camcorder to the Computer.

Refer this Link for the instruction to transfer the video to the Computer using i.LINK cable.

NOTE:As the Camcorder does not support USB streaming with Vista, it is notrequired to use any Sony Device Driver to transfer the video to theComputer. You do not require any Drivers or Software from Sony totransfer the video from the Camcorder to the Computer using thei.LINK/Firewire interface.

Option 2:

(Applicable for Windows XP Operating System only):

Ifyou are using a Windows XP Operating System then you have to installthe USB Streaming Driver in the Computer from the supplied Softwaredisk with the Computer.

Check this Link for the instruction to transfer video to a Computer using USB Streaming.

NOTE: If you do not have the supplied Software disk then I suggest that you use the i.LINK cable to transfer the video.

My sony camcorder DCR TRV19cannot be detected on my vista computer

The videos from the tape camcorders cannot be transferred to Windows Vista Operating System as there is no USB Streaming ooption available on the Windows Vista Operating System.
The Camcorder uses the USB Streaming function to transfer the videos to the Computer.

You may wish to purchase a i.LINK/Firewire cable to connect the Camcorder to the Computer in order to transfer the videos from the Camcorder to the Computer.

The i.LINK cable is a D shaped port labeled as i, DV, IEEE1394. Please refer to your Computer manual to check whether there is an i.LINK port on the Computer.

Sony Camcorders contains 4-pin i.LINK port on it.
If your Computer has a 4-pin i.LINK port, then you can use a 4-pin to 4-pin i.LINK cable to connect the Camcorder to the Vista Computer.

If you're Computer has a 6-pin i.LINK port on it, then you can connect the Camcorder to the Computer using a 4-pin to 6-pin i.LINK cable.

You may wish to click the link below to get more details about the 4-pin to 4-pin i.LINK cable.
