When watching my new vizio smart tv I noticed it gets light then dark over and over again. whats wrong?

Could be in store demo mode. Check that then make sure the picture mode is not set to Eco friendly or anything related. It sounds like some picture setting where it reads the brightness and adjusts automatically. I've found almost all setting thereof to be quite useless and more trouble than anything.

How do i take perfect picture??whats is setting for perfect picture???

Dear Annieanu - there is no setting for 'perfect picture'. Henri Cartier Bresson said that to take a good photograph you need to have your mind, eye and heart on the same line of sight. That means: Mind: you HAVE to understand how your camera works! You HAVE to understand the relationship between SHUTTER and APERTURE and, these days, white balance/file format etc. You learn this by either studying a book or by doing a course. You need to be the MASTER of your Camera!!! I learnt this by walking up to people with expensive cameras and offering to buy them a beer if they could explain what an f/stop was! Eye: You need to know the basic rules of composition. I learnt this from books on photography and also by having my photographs critiqued. It helps if you have some creativity within you!! Heart: This is your passion! Your love/fire/desire.
You combine these three things and that's how you get on the road to taking perfect pictures. I can't remember who said it but 'every day you don't take a photograph is a day you didn't learn something'.
Happy shooting! H

Exposure Compensation (-2.0EV to +2.0EV in 1/3EV increments) whats best for cybershot p71

That depends on the current situation. The exposure compensation merely subtracts or adds exposure to the "best" setting as determined by the camera's meter. The camera works on the assumption that your subject is composed of "middle gray" tones.

For a backlit subject, for example, you might want to add some exposure to bring out details in the subject at the expense of blowing out the highlights in the background. If you're taking a picture of a black cat sitting on black asphalt, you'd probably want to subtract exposure so you don't get a gray cat on a gray background. If you have a white dog in the snow, you'd want to add exposure so you don't get a gray dog on a gray background.

Again, there is no such thing as a "best" setting. There is only a "best" setting for a particular picture-taking situation, and even then the setting depends on your artistic inclinations.

My fujifilm camera has a problem when i take pictures in bright conditions the picture taken becomes pinkish whats the possible problem?

Wrong white balance setting maybe? Manual white balance only works in P, S, A and M setting, so switching the camera to Auto should solve the problem. If pictures are pink in Auto as well, the problem could be electronic.

I have a canon 40D I would like to shoot water with a still frosted look could you offer a setting to get this type of picture Iam new to picture taking thank you

Slower shutter speeds is the key. 1,2,4, or 8 seconds type exposures, longer even. With that in mind, you'll need a good tripod to keep the camera steady.

Whats nice with the digital format is that you can see your results and adjust speeds as needed to give the look you want
