Question about Ricoh Aficio 250 Copier

Replacing toner Hi, I've recently purchased a used Ricoh, Aficio 250. The toner light appeared so I proceeded to change the toner. I shook the toner, cleaned out the area with air cleaner and set the toner cartridge in the area the other cartridge was. Now, the copies are so light you can hardly see them. I've tried unplugging the copying machine, taking everything out and cleaning it with the air cleaner, reviewing my copy reference, but nothing is working. Any ideas????

You say you have checked the toner and there is "enough inside", I don't know how you can check this and the error suggests that the cartridge needs replacing. Have you tried a new cartridge ? This is the first step.
Is the cartridge you get the error with a Ricoh cartridge or a compatible. If compatible this could be the cause of your error.

Ricoh Aficio 2852 copier is having depleted toner error after adding new toner


Clear modes- 107 -hold down C button machine will enter service mode, in case it does not, open the right side door and front door then give it a try, it will enter service mode,but the fact is that for a depleted toner error you don't have to fight so hard, don't tamper the SP mode settings you are likely to land into some other problem & things will get complicated further. Install a genuine Ricoh toner and replace the developer along with cleaning of the TD sensor if a non Ricoh or compatible toner has been used previously.

We have a Ricoh Aficio CL3500N and are getting an error stating: "Used toner is almost full." No manual to refer to. Thank you!!


Hi there, You can just empty the waste toner bottle. here is what you need to do. Here is also a manual for your machine http://support.ricoh.com/bb_v1oi/html/oi/re/model/cl3500/cl3500en.htm Detailed instructions on cleaning the Waste toner bottle on Page 32 of the Maintenance Guide. Instead of replacing just empty it. Just be careful as the toner is toxic so you can also vacuum the toner out of the Waste Toner Bottle.

Ive recently purchased a RICOH Aficio Super 180 G3...used.


press the "user tools" botton, then select "fax option",than "program fax information".You can change fax header there. "Time and Date" usually in "System" submenu.

Hello sir; It is easy to replace it, the laser unit right under the toner unit remove the cover pull out laser unit the polygon motor right in there.
