Question about HP Compaq dc5100 PC Desktop
To clear the BIOS/CMOS you can either do this by way on the clear BIOS/CMOS jumper or you can simply remove the BIOS/CMOS battery for about a minute and then reinstall it in the correct orientation. Enter the BIOS during start up by pressing the delete key to set the correct date and time. Computer unplugged from power, computer case open, Anti-Static Precautions observed, remove the CMOS battery, (CR2032) Press the Power On button in, and hold it in for a count of 5 seconds. Let go. Do this 2 more times. Reinstall the CMOS battery. Close the computer case. WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.
