To clear the BIOS/CMOS you can either do this by way on the clear BIOS/CMOS jumper or you can simply remove the BIOS/CMOS battery for about a minute and then reinstall it in the correct orientation. Enter the BIOS during start up by pressing the delete key to set the correct date and time. Dc5100 sff power on password bypass or reset to enter OS

The best way to go about this would be to take the CMOS battery out of the motherboard, and than turn on the PC. This should look like a watch battery.

After you have turned the PC on, it should beep, this is ok.. Turn the PC off again, re-insert the CMOS chip to the board and try turning the PC back on, and enter the BIOS. The password should be reset.

did you set the password from the bios settings? if so, reset your bios by opening your pc casing (be sure that its unplugged) locate the bios reset jumper (mostly found near the battery cell in the motherboard) take out the plastic jumper from pins 1 and 2 and set it to pins 2 and 3 and wait for about 10 seconds then put it back to its original settings ( 1 and 2 ). close your casing and start your pc

Clear power on password

Removing the Time of Year battery will clear the BIOS password. It is located on the underside of the n610c behind the panel covered by the Microsoft COA label. A small phillips screwdriver is required to remove the two screws on the panel. Carefully lift the BR1225 battery with a small flat blade screw driver.

After 10 minutes re-insert the battery. The BIOS Password should now be cleared, as well as other BIOS settings, the time and date.

Try disconnecting the power to your computer, open up your computer case, locate and carefully remove the lithium battery. It should reset the BIOS to its default settings.
