Best bet is your local owner operated bike shop. They can repair most spoked wheels.

How to remove a rear axle on a 98 Chevy K1500 truck

first up jack up the vehicle and remove the damaged wheel
fit the spare tire and then place an indicator ( rod on a brick ) close to the rim of the spare and turn the wheel
if the axle of hub is bent you will see the rim get closer then further away from the indicator as you turn the wheel
if it is , replace the axle and bearings
if not there will be no axle damage but the bearing could be "brinnelled "( a bearing term where the balls or rollers have been imprinted into the race from impact) in which bearing failure will become evident in 10-20,000 miles
next step is to go and get a rear end wheel alignment done as there could be suspension damage that will cause handling and tire wear problems

I need a replacement rear wheel rim for my Edgewood lx hybrid

you didn't specify why you need a new wheel, is it just out of true, is it broken, is it bent?
If the wheel just needs to be trued this is an easy fix for most mechanics. You can even do it yourself using the brake pads as a guide. If a spoke is broken, this can be easily replaced and retrued. If the rim is actually bent or broken, then the rim should be replaced.
Rims can be replaced but they require a good mechanic that has the skill to relace the wheel, true it and tension it properly and at a minimum a decent mechanic with these skills will charge $25-50 for the labor. Assuming that the mechanic can get the exact same rim you are looking at about $20-50 for the rim. If that particular rim is not available then they can get something similar but it will most likely require a new set of spokes because rims are different thicknesses. Most shops charge $1-3 per spoke times 32 or 36 spokes for a typical wheel.

The easiest fix is to just buy a prebuilt wheel, these will typically run about $25-65+ for a complete wheel (not including tire, tube and rimstrip).
Your local bike shop/Diamondback Raleigh dealer will be able to help you determine what is best for your situation.

Have roadmaster mens bike 26in. Rear rim is bent need to pull out guts to replace with new rim. Cant remove part were chain goes on rim

No guts need be pulled out. You just have to remove the gears to get at the hub flanges straight-on.

You know, a complete wheel replacement might set you back less than the parts and tools you would need to do it correctly.

Google "bicycle rim replacement" for the actual procedure.

Like this one that starts out, "The wide availability of inexpensive, well-built replacement wheels has reduced the need for wheelbuilding in retail bike shops."...

My rear right side tire is wobbling on my cheverlote cavalier?

are the lug nuts tight?
If so you may want to remove the wheel to inspect more thoroughly as that is serious - you may have a possible broken lug bolt - hard to say more without more details.
: Possible bent rim?
Loose half shaft (depending on if front or rear?)
Bearing on the spindle could be shot if on the rear..
best regards
Ck

How do you disassemble bearings on the rear wheel to replace bent rim?

It sounds like you are trying to remove the hub, not disassemble bearings if you are trying to replace the rim. First off, replacing the rim requires you to rebuild the wheel, meaning re-lacing the spokes and truing the wheel. Unless you are very experinced in wheel building I sugguest you purchase a new rear wheel. Not only will it cost much less but it will save you much time and headache. Your local bike shop can help you with this. Hope this helps.

2008 cobalt has recently developed shimmy in front end at low speed..<45mph is problem alignment or something more serious??also, road noise which has always been somewhat loud has definitely increased.

Your cobalt should still be under warranty, so you should bring it back to the dealer. If you have done massive driving and your out of warranty, then il'd have to say that you may have a wheel bearing hub gone bad and needs to be replaced. Check the tire pressure first, tire condition and look for any signs if tire damage like tire belt separation. Tire belt separation is when the steel belt in the tires that keep the tire it's shape has broke and there is a flat spot causing the wheel shimmy. If your not sure, rotate the wheel by placing the front wheels to the rear and the rear to the front, making sure the tires are properly inflated to the recommended PSI. Good luck and start with checking the tire first.
