It is not supported.
There is no driver (yet) for this printer, available for Win 7 or Vista.
Upgrade your printer. At best of times, this is a crappy install. You could try a generic type driver.. (no I don't have one) but very unlikely to work.

Yes, you need to go to the Lexmark website and download a win7 driver. At a guess you tried to install a driver for an older operating system.

Go to Lexmark then follow links for support and downloads entering the O/S and printer model as required.

Alternatively, google "Lexmark Z600 driver for windows 7".

There is no Lexmark Z600 driver specific for Windows 7, however, the Vista driver works. Check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by going to the Start menu > right click on Computer > Properties. Download the driver using this link: http://bit.ly/cd4MzI(for 32-bit) or this link: http://bit.ly/c4xCtN(for 64-bit). Execute the file to install the driver. Not available in english

I recommend you use the driver available for download in the Lexmark website. There is no Windows 7 64-bit OS driver, however, the Vista 64-bit OS driver is compatible with it. Lexmark Z600 series (Z601, Z602, Z603, Z604 and Z605) uses the same driver. Here's the link to download the software. http://bit.ly/b8juwC. Download and install the software. Hope this helps. If you need more assistance, leave a comment and I'll get back to it. Thanks.
