try adjusting your darkness settings. if too dark wont read and also if too light wont read. also try a printhead test to make sure no elements are burnt out.

We have 2 Intermec 4420 printers. We printed the same label out on both printers. Our scanner reads one but won't read the label from other printter. Why do you think this is happening?

if you use the same resolution, and the same print speed, check the temperature use to perform the transfer. The barcodes are not correctly printed on one of your printer.

You can recalibrate it to read the label size by doing the following.

Power off the printer
Hold down the green button
Turn the printer on and about 1/2 second after turning it on, release the green button
It will print out some information and measure the label. Once it stops, hit the green button one last time and then try to print another label.

Labels only jam when printing from file

I cannnnoooooottt believe what I am reading! If you are going to use labels on a laserjet, you need to get thermal labels! The other cheap labels are made for inkjets, matric, or daisywheel printers. The laserjets have heat rollers that will melt plastic. It will melt the gum on the non thermal labels and get them everywhere!!
