Question about Polaroid TDA-03211C 32 in. LCD HDTV
I have the same TV and had the same problem. You can fix it like I did. On the back of the set you will see a big screw in the middle of the black cover and I believe one on each side these would be small. Remove the screws and take off the cover carefully. This will expose the metal cover and remove the screws and I think there are 4. Remove the metal cover. You should now see the inside with 2 circuit boards. The top board will have about 6 screws to remove so you can take the board out. You will also need to unplug some of the componets that are hooked together like a computer or plugs. Unplug them and becareful. Located on this circuit board will be 2 capacitors that are bad. They are located at EC17 & EC18. You can order the new capacitors at Digi-Key.com and the part # is 493-2069-ND. Go to the site and type it in so you know what they look like on the board. If you know how to soldier you can do it I guess. I didn't do this part. I sent my board and the capacitors to JD Electronics in Poland Me. Call the guy and see if he can soldier them in for you. (207)998-5687. His name is John. I put mine back together and it works fine.
Hope this is some help.
