Question about Frigidaire FRS266ZDSB Side by Side Refrigerator

1 Answer

Part and Installation

I did a search and I think the part is called a Control-Temperature part#240383703. Is this correct? Also to replace this do you just remove the panel where the dial is also where the water filter system is on top?
Hopefully it is not to complicated.

Thanks

Yes it's a thermostat. inside the refrigerator theres where you should see the dial. carefully pull out the dial and there should be a cover with about two phillips screws take them out. (for this part please disconnect the fridge from your power supply) when you lower the top you will see the control and the copper coil (be careful because if you break the copper coil on the control it will not work at all!!) just disconnect the wires from the old control there's 2 or 3 (if there's a green one. the old control is like snapped in a compartment you mange to get it out with some patience. connect the wires to the new control and put the sensing bulb from the new control in it's place . it's not that complicated just e-mail me @ hvac.tech7872pr@gmail.com for any questions

Electrolux dryer will not start code E-63 appears on the screen

Hi boltonjamese...

E63 error code means that your dryer thinks the temperature is too hot.

If your unit is still under warranty they should fix it under warranty so I would highly recommend calling warranty to correct this issue as any problem to fix this will involve replacing a sensor or a control board.

Please take time to rate me

What doe error code E63 refer to? thanks

Hi,
"E63" error code means that your dryer thinks the temperature is too hot. Most of these units should still be under warranty so I would highly recommend calling warranty to correct this issue as any problem to fix this will involve replacing a sensor or a control board which involves high risky things to be done. So its safe to reach the company service technician to fix this issue.
Thank you!!

Refrigerator freezes food regardless of dial setting. Control board?

Thank you. The part number you need is 240383703 at $146.18 thru Sears and is the control for the refrigerator not the freezer. The refrigerator control operates the opening and closing of the damper door which lets air pass from the freezer to the fresh food. The control is keeping the door open longer than it should. Hope this helps. Worth the repair and has been one of the most common problems with this model.

FD Shorted meat probe Problem could be with the probe, the receptacle, or probe circuit. Check probe. Look for pinched wire. Look for condensation or contamination on probe receptacle. Replace probe if all else checks out ok. FF Loss of door motor safety switch Replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC). FFF Control error, failed EEPROM Replace the oven control board (also called clock or ERC).

The main control operates a series of software commands, which control the various features and functions of the oven. Each function or operation has a numerical value assigned to it. The numerical values can be added up - this is called the check sum operation. Every time the system is powered up and after each clean cycle the system performs a check sum and compares the value to the value programmed into the software (stored in memory).

An EEPROM check sum error or FFF code occurs when the values differ. If this happens, replace the oven control board (also called clock or ERC).Here is a list of error codes and corrective action that should be taken. Mike
