Hi,
This tv has 3 indicator lights on front, Power, Lamp and Temp
I assume Temp light is blinking 5 times after every 5 seconds, if that is correct then it is problem of clogged air filter located in light engine that need to be cleaned.
Below is an image of light engine and air filters locations are marked with red circle, it is job of professional to fix this issue because complete light engine need to be take out from tv cabinet.
Hope these info will help you, let me know if you have additional question or need service manual copy if you want to repair tv by yourself.
Thanks.

Reset Time Problem on Panasonic TV (PT-50LC13)

Power on the set, listen for afaint buzzing sound as the set tries to fire up. If you do not here it then your lamp driver, or ballast is most likely faulty. Also make sure you have the door and all covers back in place and secure. And make sure you insatlled an orginal panasonic lamp because some generic will not work.

The ballast probably needs to be repaired. A repair kit #LSUC0022 is available from Panasonic.

It could be the ballast that is bad. A bad ballast also shortens the Lamp life .

Dots on screen

you have to get a repair guy to come out. When this happened to me the guy changed the bulb (which didn't work) and the actual internal projector (which did work). But he had also said there was a software fix for this problem that is considerably cheaper.

TV will not turn on-- clicking noise in the back

The power pack the the power cord goes into has gone bad and needs replaced, see manufacturer for service or parts.
