SOURCE: loose connection in Bose headphones

Cut the ******** and replace it with a new one. You will need to solder the wires on to the new one. Keep the old one, cut it open and it will tell you which wires go to which terminal.

You will have to strip back enough wire length on the wires and also on the jack (or a good new and used jack with wires coming out of it) and wrap or solder them together, then wrap them in tape or coat with nail polish, and tape when they dry. Sometimes it just won't work, sometimes it can, just depends. Since the wires are usually multiwired and lacquer-coated, it is tricky and very hard. You have to separate the thin cloth fibers used for strength, and then scrape the lacquer off with an exacto knife, scraping the ends repeatedly. It's a delicate and hard operation. After the lacquer is off, wrap the ends together, or carefully solder if you can. Be careful soldering, since it's easy to burn up the super thin wires with too much heat.
These items are not designed or built to be fixed, or serviced, but sometimes you can get lucky. I used to do it, but it's a **** shoot whether it will really work, is tedious and takes awhile, and then there's no guarantee how long .
Good luck, wish there was better or easier news.

Bose qc15 right side not working

If the cup itself is not cracked or broken, you can carefully detach the "snap on" cushion to expose the inner workings. There may be an inner cover which also can be carefully detached to expose the wire connections. After making repairs, reverse the disassembly process.

Cuts of when walking

The headphone cable maybe faulty.
To locate the fault along the headphone wire, while you are listening to music slowly flex along he cable from the headphone to the plug in your player, When the music stops then you have located the broken wire in the cable. This can be repaired by fixing the break. You may need a friend to help you repair the cable.

Bose QC15 Headphones broken swivel

I have tried many types of glue and the action of taking them off and on just puts too much strain on the joint.
The best thing I can suggest is to either find a cheap headphone that uses the same size speakers as your Bose and fit yours in them.
Alternativly melt the joint (once you have joined it with super glue) using a soldering iron not greater then 25 watts. You might have to melt some other plastic on to the joint such as a pen top. I should warn you to use safety glasses and do it in a well vented room. You need the glasses for the smoke that comes off, it will go in your eyes and it's not nice!
Even then you have to handle them carefully and not put too much strain on the repair.

I have had my headsets for 3 years, they work well, I have just noticed that the left ear pad is detaching from the base. How do I get fixed?

The ear cushions are attached to the earcup with plastic tabs that snap into the plastic in the earcup. The lower snaps may be unfastened. Try pressing the ear cushion firmly to the earcup around the lower edge to refasten the snaps. Do not press in the middle of the ear cushion - you may damage the internal microphone.

If this fails, you will need to remove the ear cushion by pulling it off the earcup and inspect for broken plastic where the tabs are on the ear cushion or where the tabs attach to the earcup. If a tab is broken on the earcup, replacement earcups are available from Bose for $35 per pair.

If the plastic in the earcup is broken, you can try to repair it or you can contact Bose about getting it repaired or replaced.

Right side of bose headphone is not working

I have fixed over 500 headphones. Its the plug that connects to audio devices.
Take a look at it
Look at the Standard stereo headphone. When you plug it and unplug it from your audio/music device,
the little 3 or 4 wires disconnect. The smaller the headphone, the more chance this will happen.
To revive your headphone, you have to cut it and re solder the wires to the plug.
follow this step because I don't know how to explain it to you and make you understand it.

Please rate if this helped you.

My bose headphones have just stopped working, is there a decent chance I can get them repaired fairly cheaply?

You can try taking to a electronic repair shop to check if the cable is broken somewhere, if so, it can be repaired, if thats not the case bad luck. always take care of the headphones cables, never tie them tight always keep them loose.
