The Faulhaber company went out of business in the late 80's so no chance of contacting them - you have a vintage seat or a replica. If you want a wider seat then just go to the closest bike shop and try different ones, you will be able to find one to your liking from the dozens of models there.

If this is an exercise bike then the seat is a custom install and the only ones that can replace it for a price are the ones that installed it in the first place - Vitamaster also went out of business about 15 years ago so no help from them either. Otherwise you can always order a custom seat at the bike shop - they will weld the rod from the present seat to one of their ones, but this is going to cost you some money.

Removing rear set for 76 cutlass

I have done this several times, but it has been is a while!
I think it goes like this.
On the bottom front edge of the rear bench seat cushion are two stamped metal "hooks" that secure the bottom of the seat to the floor. These hooky things and their matching loops are about 12 inches inboard from the far end of each cushion, or maybe a little more than a foot on either side of the center. There are matching wire loops are welded to the floor of the car. To remove the bottom cushion, you push the lower seat cushion back toward the rear of the car a few inches, and lift it . Pushing it back a few inches should cause the hooks to clear the loops. It should be hard to do.
The upper rear cushions are bolted with a couple of screws to the trunk firewall. Removing a couple of screws at the bottom will allow the rear upper cushion to be lifted up.
Be blessed.

Tip

Level Seat tip

The most common cause of saddle discomfort is an improperly adjusted seat. Start with the seat level with the ground and only tip it from 2 to 3 degrees up or down if you think it will help ease discomfort. Don't make the mistake of angling it steeply downhill. This makes you slide forward putting too much weight on your knees and hands.

I am doing an extensive cleaning of my car, how do i remove back seat?

At least 3 ways the bottom cushions are held in place: some have bolts at the bottom of the cushion, one on each side-when bolts are removed, bottom cushion pulls out. Some have plastic clips on the bottom of the cushion, pressed straight down and into holes in the frame. To remove pull up on the bottom cushion. The other way of holding is a metal bar or rod (about 2 inches long) that is on the bottom of the cushion, close to the front of cushion. This bar fits into a metal clip that juts up from the frame. To remove this kind, you have to push hard on the front of the cushion, so the bar or rod lifts out of the clip. The rod only has to move backward about an inch and it will lift out of the clip. There are only two clips- each is about 1 foot from the ends of the cushion. These types of holds are the most difficult to get to move. Sometimes you need to put your knee against the bottom cushion and give it a hard shove backward. You will know when you have one side loose. That side can then be lifted up a bit. Then do the other side.

First check for 2 bolts at the bottom of the back seat cushion. When you have the bottom seat out, you can remove the top cushion (the backrest) out if you want to. The backrest usually has two bolts at the bottom. Remove them, and lift up the backrest and out. If no bolts at the bottom, just grab the cushion and lift up and then away.

How do I access the top of my rear strut on 2009 Camry Hybrid

I just replaced my rear struts on my 2009 Camry Hybrid. This was the second time in my life I ever did this kind of work. The trick is to get access to the top of the strut. You have to fold down the back seat cushions. In my hybrid there are two pull levers in the trunk that release the seats. The levers are at the top of the trunk.

Once you fold down the seats, there will be two side cushions on the side of the seats that did not fold down. At the bottom of that side cushion, between the side cushion and the bottom seat is a bolt holding the side cushion on. It is way in the back so you will need an extension with a 12mm socket to get to the bolt. Dont be afraid to dig into the space between the cushions to find the bolt. Once you unscrew the bolt, you can lift up on the side cushion and it will come out (lift upward). You now have a clear (and easy) access to the top of the strut. 11_8_2012_9_53_03_pm.jpg11_8_2012_9_53_44_pm.jpg11_8_2012_9_54_13_pm.jpg

Seat warmers on drivers side have gone out. How do you fix or replace?

depending on if it is the seat bottom or the seat back as they are seperate systems if both dont work then you probably have a electrical problem with the module or the switch not the heaters them selves, if it is one of the heaters then you must remove the seat cushion and replace it or the seat back cushion the heaters are intergrated into the foam the seat cushion unbolts with two fifteen millimeter nuts just under the front of the seat and unclips from the rear as you pull up and forward the seat back cushion is much more involved and should be done by a pro

How do you remove the rear seat of 2004 honda accord

Release the two latches at the front of the seat cushion (pull back on the latches to release the front of the cushion).

Remove the seat cushion bolt and remove the cushion (it’s roughly in the center. You have to insert a socket extension between the back and bottom seat cushions to take it out, after you find it by pressuring the bottom cushion and looking back in there).

Remove the bolts (each side) securing the seat side bolsters (they are easy to see once the bottom cushion is removed), then remove the side bolters (gently release the clips that hold them in).

Pull the seat forward, then remove the fasteners securing the seat hinge (seat pivot bracket) and remove the seat backs.

Hope this helps you.

How do I attach a car seat to Peg Perego Aria Twin LB

It must be an aria twin 40/60 stroller and a peg capsule. The connection pieces are under the wider seat cushioning and they pull up and cushioning pushes back down with connection piece sticking up through gap either side of cushioning. The capsule will push easily on to pram seat and you will hear it lock when positioned correctly. You must use wider seat side.

Replace rear seat belt in 1993 Toyota Corolla

OK. On the front edge of the seat bottom cushion, pull up hard, both sides. This will dislodge the 2 clamps that holds the seat cushion to the floor. Pull the seat cushion out & set it aside. You will now see the female latches bolted to the area where the rear of the seat cushion meets the rear seat back bottom. Remove the bolts (14 mm I think).
