Question about Canon PIXMA MX310 All-In-One Printer
I have installed the driver software successfully and the printer. Each time I go to print the test page it returns printer not responding.
The wires are all plugged in, the printer is on my list in the control panel?

same thing happend to mine. Have not sorted the problem yet but you can get it to print if you change the Ink usage settings. Go into your printer properties, select maintenance tab and click on the Ink Usage Control button.Tick "Use Composite Black" then ok. This will enable you to print out your docs at least.

It might be the contact strip of the Printer which remains in touch with Cartridge going rip off for the Black one.
You need to repair it. It will not cost you much.

Did you download the latest drivers from the website? It looks like they were posted this month. I would report the issue. It is quite likely there is a compatibility issue. Have you contacted canon at all about this problem? Once I have more information I can try and assist you further.
