Question about Vacuums

I have lost my manual for Nexxtech thermometer model6312030. I can't get it to read the outside temperature after I changed the batteries. How do I reset to make it read. Or better yet, how can I get a copy of the manual?

The problem here was solved but replacing weak batteries in the main unit and pressing reset on the main unit

It took a minute or two for the temps to update

You must reset the outside unit every time you change a battery. To rest insert a paperclip into the small whole marked "reset". Temperatures should now appear on the inside or remote unit.

I have the same problem, we tried to reset it on every channel, and the indoor display reads --.-
If you figure it out please post it to let me know! Thank you.

Has the battery got a fuse link in it?

If you don't get any voltage reading across the + and - terminals, the battery is faulty. The aux terminals are used to sense battery temperature and charge state. You most likely have a bad battery.

The remote sensor on my wireless thermo Te279NW does not record temp on inside unit

Check batteries in remote sensor and if OK try moving the sensor closer to the inside unit. Any kind of RF interference will limit the range including flourescent lighting.

I have an Equity Weather Station model 31215B and i was wondering if the outside wireless thermometer is waterproof .

The wireless unit that transmits to the indoor unit is weather resistant, but not immersible. Even so, try to shield the transmitter from the sun and rain, if possible. When positioning the transmitter, keep in mind that direct sunlight may cause false readings and mounting it on heat-retaining materials (like brick) will show a higher temperature, even after sunset. Avoid mounting it anywhere near things that give off heat (air conditioner units, dark exterior walls, etc.).

LaCrosse has not yet uploaded the manual for this, but you may check later at:

Good luck from Detroit, MI.

I cant get my weber remote thermometer to read the temp.

Note: both the transmitter and receiver unit have a re-set button under the battery compartment lid. If the receiver is not receiving a signal from the transmitter, you will need to disconnect the probe and re-set both units while 'on' before re-connecting the probe.

This is straight off the weber website, and it works coz mine just started reading temp

I changed the batteries in my window thermometer (the one with suction cups) and it is still giving me the change battery alert.

Remove the batteries and using an emory board or fine sandpaper scratch up the metal pieces where the battery ends make contact inside the unit. It could be that the metal pieces have corroded a bit and need to be cleaned to make proper contact with the batteries.
