Try using channel 4 instead. There should be a switch on the cable box to switch it to channel 4 instead.

Stuck on one channel . I can not change to another channel by using it's own remote control or my cable remote what can i do please help........

Make sure that the TV is set to the right channel to receive the signal from the cable box. Channels 3 & 4 are typical for this.
Then, this will only eliminate one or the other of the remotes; take any digital camera or camcorder with an LCD display, turn it on. Aim a remote at the lens of the camera, depress nearly any button on it, 'Power' is good enough. Check for a flashing light on the camera's screen. If you see output from the remote, it is at least working although you still won't know if it is putting out the correct code sequence but generally, if it's putting out anything, it's probably OK. If both can be seen when operating, the problem could be in the IR receiver of the set or cable box.

LG 50" the pitcher is off the screen each side by

Ok, first make sure you or someone in family didn't hit the "HD Zoom" on your cable remote or whatever kind of remote you have. On ours - Cable- if you hit it once it is in "Normal" picture which on ours has black around edges on a non Hd channel. Then if you hit it again it Zooms once makes pix very large and if you hit button a third time brings it into a wide screen Zoom that fills the Tv screen. If we are viewing HD channels I put it on Normal which will fill the screen and give you the best HD pix. If we are viewing a NON HD channel, then normal will have black on sides, so I hit the Zoom a couple times to fill in the screen. My brother in law had this problem and couldn't figure out why his Sports channel Scores were always half cut off the screen! it was zoomed in too much for that channel. His sports channel was in HD so needed to be on normal instead of zoomed in.
if it is not the Cable remote then this is a second possible cause:

The other thing that happened to me was - we hardly ever use our original TV remote that came with the TV. but one day our picture looked weird and the cable remote didn't adjust it. One of us had hit the "P SIZE" button on the TV remote. this changes your pix from - 4:3 ratio to 16:9 ratio and vice versa. I put clicked that button and on the TV it shows whether it is at 4:3 or 16:9. For newer wide screen TVs you want that set at 16:9 ratio.

All cable company remotes probably are a bit different so check with your company ... to find out where the zoom control is on their remote.

How do I put the GE remote xs stereo monitor into input mode without the remote?

A good universal remote to use with that monitor is the RCA RCRN04GR, available at WalMart. I recently bought a 25" GE Remote Monitor XS Stereo from a Days Inn that was replacing all of those monitors with Flat Screen TV's. When I got it home I found that it would not go to channel 4 which was default with my COX Digital Cable Box. Channel 3 is the default channel on the monitor, so I ran an AV cable from the cable box, disconected the coax and hooked up the AV cable to the back of the TV and that solved the problem. I hope that answer was helpful.

How do i put it on channel three manually?

If the remote to your box can be paired with your tv then you should be able to fix this problem simply by pairing digi remote with tv and while in tv mode on remote, hit the input button. That should change tv back to cable/antenna setting so that you may access channel 3. Hope this was helpful.

Toshiba CF32G50 32" TV - wont turn to channel 3

try entering the channel directly via the remote by pressin"03" if that fails check to see if your cable box has a 3/4 switch on the back. if so set it to 4.
The main problem however, is that the TV needs to have the channels reprogrammed by following the instruction manual and/or on screen menu.

When i hook up cable and turn on the tv all i get is a blue screen on ch 3. and it wont turn from ch 3 whats up with that...?

You have to setup the tv with using the menu. The tv will need to ''autodetect'' the available channel before it can leave you access other channel. Otherwise you may generally ''force'' a channel by using the remote and entering the channel you wish to liste. (dont you lose the remote!!!) Then in case of major problem if you cant access and navigate in the menu without it, go buy the cheapest universal remote! Take the time and you'll find the trick!

Is There a way to go to video/input without a remote.

My answer will be generic.

With many of these TV sets the original factory remote is required to change the input mode of the set, or to access any of the user menus.

On some models of sets, putting the channel selection down to below channel 2, puts the TV in to the external input modes.
