Question about Computers & Internet
Are you able to start up the computer or is the password preventing you from starting up?
if the password prevents you from starting up, you must get in touch with acer to get the password unlocked or you will have to send the laptop to their repair facility.
if the computer can start a cd rom, then you can download and burn Ultimatebootcd to a cd and start the machine from it. Select BIOS from the menu and then !bios or iBios. from !bios you can run an basic "attack" that corrupts the cmos and default settings will be loaded and password will be removed.
I've performed the above on my own extensa 5635ZG
the disc also has a utility called wipeCmos, it should do the same.
please let me know if you have any questions. I'll respond as soon as possible.
