My toshiba at200 table 10.1 wont turn on

1. When you press the power button to turn it on, do you see any thing on screen, like the toshiba boot up screen or something like that. Or is it completely blank (black color) always.

2. Can you see a faint image of your desktop (try to see it in dark place with flash light). This is important to confirm.

3. Also, when you press power button, do you see the LED lights on laptop blinking or solid green (which ones are in blinking/solid) and do hear any sound ? Or do you feel that your laptop doesnt even try to boot.

4. Can you hear any Beeps when you try to turn on the computer. If yes, what is the sequence of those beeps.

Continued......
If you answers are -
1.
blank
2.
no image
3.
only the satellite light is blue, the powercord is blue and the battery is blue
4.
no noise

Please do the following carefully and let me know result :
1. Shutdown and Unplug your laptop.
2. Remove the battery from the laptop.
3. Wait 2-3 minutes
4. Now press ON (power button on laptop) for 1 minute
5. Then release the finger and wait one more minute.
6. Now plug in the power cable (dont insert battery yet) and press ON button.
7. Did your screen start working now ? (do you see windows loading)

Why wont my equium a100-337 wont post to bios, says there is a problem with the TPM? wont load bios menu either and hangs?

TPM is the security system in the bios.

If you can open the laptop remove the bios battery - most laptops dont have a bios reset jumper.

Toshiba equium m40x won't power up

whats happening is that the cpu is overheating and shutting down the computer due to your fan not spinning, if you wish to test this remove the bottom panel and remove the fan and its cooling tubes should all be one part (quite easy 3 or 4 bolts) and blow on the cpu or put a pedistal fan facing it or any other form of cooling that wont damage it, and try to start it if it boots for a while it is the fan and you will need to replace it, i had this exact problem yesterday

This is a link to the download site for Toshiba drivers. Select the model of your laptop and click Go to retrieve a list of available drivers. Before doing this, however, you need to be certain of the model number of your laptop. Equium is the make of toshiba desktop computers and A60 is the model number for a Toshiba Satellite laptop. Look on the bottom of your laptop for a label that will have the exact model number you need then select that on the website.

Laptop wont turn on

You may check if the charger connection to the laptop is secured and doesn't have any problems. If the laptop doesn't show any sign of life,no led flashing, no nothing it is probably that your charge circuits or power on signal circuits are burned or broken. It sounds strange but they don't need a special motive to do that, they can simply die out. You will need your laptop dissasembled for this job and some knoledge of laptop electronics however. If you feel that this is not for you a service center can check the problem. Be carefull to specify exactly the simptoms you encounted. In worst case scenario they will asume your motherboard "dead" and propose a replecement. Be patient and try other service centers if this is the case.
