My pen drive is of 2GB i dont know how but now it showing 1.50GB as used space and only 500mb odd free space and its completely empty,there is no data inside plz solve my problem

U NEED TO CHECK THE FREE SPACE BEFORE COPYING THE FILE TO THE PEN DRIVE, IF IT'S NOT WORKING U CAN FORMAT IT

I think it could be due to virus activity. Some virus make the contents of the drive hidden, thats why user can't see the files and the space available for use is less than the capacity.
It is suggested that go to FOLDER OPTIONS - and seclect SHOW HIDDEN FILES. It may show the hidden files. Otherwise, if you dont have any vital data on the drive, just format it. Hope this would fix the issue and you would be able to enjoy the full capacity of the disk

right click properties will tell you if your drive is full

>> 4.00 GB drive
>> 7.47 GB free

Something's wrong!

Connect the flash-drive to a USB port.
Open "My Computer".
Right-mouse-click on the icon for the SanDisk.
Choose Format.
Enable "quick-format", and click OK.

see if you can format it if not it is bad

The only chance to get data is to try and use different card reader.

Best thing to do is format the drive. Dont go for a quick format

do you still have warranty for the Pen drive, suggest you take it to the shop you bought it. you seem to have got a defective ped drive. also if you have the serial numbers, check online with Kingston to see if you have got a genuine kingston product.

every mp3 player has some space taken up by the native software, so it always shows less than advertised
