1. Try this one first - use Auslogics Registry Cleaner (freeware) ---- Clean your registry
2. You need to click the Start menu and select Run. In the Run box, type regeditand press Enter. In the Windows registry editor, locate the exact key that is listed in the error message (the 'xxxxxx'). Right-click the registry key and in the popup menu, select Permissions. In the Permissions dialog box, make sure that the Administrator group hasFull Control. Now again right-click the registry key and in the popup menu, select Delete. Click Yes on the confirmation prompt.

  1. If you receive the "Error 1404" error message, remove the registry subkey that is referred to in the error message. To do this, follow these steps:

Warning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
    1. Click Start, click Run, type regedt32 in the Open box, and then click OK.
    2. Locate the registry subkey that is referred to in the "Error 1404" error message. Make sure that you locate the exact registry subkey that is specified in the error message.
    3. Right-click the registry subkey that you located in the previous step, and then click Permissions.
    4. Under Group or user names, click Administrators, click to select the Full Control check box under Allow, and then click OK.
    5. Right-click the registry subkey, and then click Delete.

When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
  2. Start Windows Explorer, and then locate the drive:\Winnt\Installer folder. In this folder location, drive is the hard disk where Windows is installed.

Note This folder may be hidden. If the drive:\Winnt\Installer folder does not appear in Windows Explorer, follow these steps:
    1. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the View tab.
    2. Under Advanced settings, click to select the Show hidden files and folderscheck box, and then click OK.
  3. Grant appropriate access permissions for the drive:\Winnt\Installer folder for the following groups: Administrators: Full Control
SYSTEM: Full ControlTo do this, follow these steps:
    1. Right-click the drive:\Winnt\Installer folder, and then click Properties.
    2. Click the Security tab.
    3. In the Name list, click the appropriate user group or user name that you want to assign permissions for. For example, click Administrators.
    4. Under Allow, click to select the check box for the appropriate permission that you want to set, and then click OK. For example, click to select the Full Controlcheck box, and then click OK.
  4. Restart the computer.
  5. Insert the microsoft office CD into the CD or DVD drive, and then run the microsoft office Setup program.

Error 25090.office setup encountered a problem with the office source engine. system error..-2147024894. please open C..\program files\microsoft office\OFFICE

To fix it, put in your Office 2003 or Office 2007 CD into your drive and wait for the setup program to start. If it doesn't start automatically, find the Setup.exe file on the CD and run it manually. Once the setup window appears, just click Cancel. Click OK to whatever prompts come up after you click Cancel.
That's it! Loading the setup screen fixes the corrupt setup files and allows you to open an Office program without the 25090 error!

When you try to start a Microsoft Office 2007 or Microsoft Office 2003 program, you may receive the following error message or an error message that is similar to the following:

Error 25090. Office Setup encountered a problem with the Office Source Engine, system error: -2147023836. Please open SETUP.CHM and look for "Office Source Engine" for information on how to resolve this problem.

CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:

* Two people installed Office on the same computer.
* Both installations were completed by using the AllUsers="" parameter to set the installation for the installing user account only.
* When both people were prompted to remove files that were copied locally at the end of Setup, both people did not remove the files.
* One of the two people removed Office.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, start the Setup program for Office. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Insert the Microsoft Office 2003 CD in your CD drive or DVD drive.
2. If the Setup program does not start automatically, locate the Setup.exe file on the CD, and then double-click the file to start Setup.
3. After the Setup window appears, cancel Setup, and then respond to the prompts to exit Setup.

Note: You do not have to complete the Setup program. Setup fixes the error condition when it is first invoked.

Good Day,

Your best option is to replace the EGR(exhaust gas recurcilation) valve with a new one. For pics and detailed instructions on the process see this link:

http://www.autozone.com/shopping/repairGuide.htm?pageId=0900c1528003cda2

Once replaced you will have to clear the trouble code by disconnecting the negative battery terminal, re-connect after a few moments.

Hope this helps
