I did that. The phone works normal, we can call out, it will ring when we use the intercom, so the speaker is working. It just won't ring for incoming calls. We have a regular line line that rings.

    No broadband, Verizon.

  • whtwolf810 Nov 11, 2010

We have a short cable, We bought new phones with new cables and the phone rang for the first few times and stopped. We sent he phones back.
We have tried everything with no luck.
I am thinking of rewireing the phone lines. Thank you.

Hi,
Try this
Go to Menu > Ringer setting > Ringer volume.
Use right and loft navigational key to change it. If the ringer volume is set to maximum then the problem lies with the hardware only. That is the speaker is not working.Contact the nearest Panasonic service centre.
Thank You

    Hi,

This happens due to the fault in cable. The cable which coming to the cordless phone should be less than 6 feet.Due to using large length cables the voltage drop is more and the required voltage is not supplied.Due to aging also this happens.

    Thank you

SOURCE: Night switching for KX-T7630

You have 4 different modes of calling available to be programmed: DAY NIGHT BREAK and LUNCH. Your installer has to set up the ICD groups, but you can create a LUNCH group which looks like the day mode but rings all phones. The codes are accessed by dialing on the intercom *780x where 0 is day 1 is night 2 is lunch and 3 is break.

You may use the NIGHT mode in the daytime, but if you have voice mail, it will play the night greeting instead of a day greeting.

SOURCE: Incoming calls to office cause all phones to ring in classrooms

Changing ringing on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
Next press the left hand intercom twice
The display should say system programming

Press the right hand intercom once. The display should say Centralized Programming.

Enter in the extension number that you want to program.

Press the line that you want to ring.
A solid light on the line means immediate ringing
A slow flashing light means delayed ringing (meaning the phone will wait 3 rings before starting to ring.)
A fast flashing light means no ringing.

When finished with that station press the right hand intercom and enter in the next extension to program and set ringing accordingly.

Press feature "00" to logout
Hope that helps

Remove the ringing from incoming calls on a norstar. I have multiple extensions in the building but want the incoming calls only to ring to a few extensions

You need administrative rights to get into the PBX. Once in there, you can assign which phones receive incoming calls. It has been years since I worked on the meridian system, so I can't tell you the way to do it, but it is in the manual. It's not complicated. You can also set it up for DAY/NIGHT mode so that in the evening, if required, all phones could ring on incoming calls so that anyone in the building can answer them.

Phone does not ring

Time to get new phones. You incoming wires are not operating on the base of the phone. It is called the 'ring-side' or 'red' wire. Unless you know where the break is, you cannot fix it. because it happens on all the phones....it has to be broken in the base that serves them all. This isolation is furthered by the fact that a corded phone works fine on incoming calls, so it is not in the line to the building, broken on the ring side that is. Happy phone hunting!

Nokia 2730 - not getting ring tone with some incoming calls. Message left that I have missed a call

If you are facing the problem with some incoming calls it is an indication that you have set different ring tones for different users or incoming calls.

Very simply reset your mobile to a default setting by going to setting, restore factory setting and every thing shall be back to normal.

Change you profile to Normal (so it will ring)

> try customizing your profile by going to:
Menu> Settings> Profile> Normal > personalize> ring tone > ringning.

For the handset, you can use the menu button to check the HS Setup settings. For the answering machine, you may have pressed the side button that turns it off. It would say "off" on the lcd if you did that. According to the manual (I just bought one of these).
