Visit the sony Vaio website - chances are you need to upgrade a driver, or download a patch for use with Vista. FYI: This is something you should get used to looking for. EVERYTHING needs SOMETHING to work with Vista....

If you want a simple way to detect and download the latest drivers for your system, I would try DriverAgent from Phoenix Technologies. I use it for new installs and recoveries and it makes downloading the correct drivers effortless and quick. You can waste a lot of time doing the downloads doing your own searches and downloads.
