Question about Dell Latitude D820 Notebook
You have a reset button under the battery . Depress this button with a pencil . I would hold it down for two minutes replace the battery and see if that works . You dont know if its in DOS if your monitor dont wotk . You can also try to rove the keyboard carefully and remove the internal battery . Its the size of a nickel . Leave it out for 15 minutes this will reset your system . You might want to get a new internal battery . There is one screw in the middle of the bottom of your laptop for the keyboard take it out then take a small knife to pop the built in clips all the way around the keyboard . There is a plate between the monitor and keyboard this will pop out with a small knife just like the keyboard it also has clips . Start from any side on both the keyboard a.d plate a.d work your way around . The plate has to be the first to remove . You will also have two or three small screws at the top of the keyboard . Be careful you dont pull out the connection ribbon . It should unplug . Good luck . I had the very same laptop so ive done all this with working results ...
