You might uninstall adobe air restart your computer then run the chkdsk utility

Click start control panel administrative tools computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools click check now click start two boxes

automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart

You might only tick in the one box to automatically fix files

have no input while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may further damage your computers Operating System and Hard Drive.

This might take some time depending on the size of your Hard Drive and the amount of data on it be patient.

JetClean tidies your registry, gets rid of junk files, deletes broken shortcuts, and attempts to give your computer that like-new feel again.

Then reinstall Adobe Air right click on the program select run as administrator

Reinstalling Adobe AIR

You can just click on 'Start', click on 'control Panel', the 'add or remove programs, or for windows 7 ( 'uninstall program'). It will provide a list of programs on the computer, look for Adobe AIR,, click on it and click the button either 'change/remove' or 'delete'. Once ADOBE air has been successfully removed, go onto the adobe website and install the latest version of adobe AIR. Hope this helps.

On bootup, adobe air installation damaged

Try first going to start button > Run (search) > type in the text box msconfig When the window comes up, choose selective startup > go to the startup tab and look through the entries for adobe air and uncheck the box. While you are in there, you can uncheck any other program that you don't need to "startup" when windows starts up. The main players in startup are the anti-virus programs, wireless utilities etc. These you want to start. Hit apply and exit out. Reboot later, we have one more stop first.

Now go to control panel > administrator tools > services. Look through the services for Adobe air or something similar. double click on it and it will open a window where you can change the programs settings. You can disable, start, stop etc. If you find the air program here, click on the drop down list and select disable, click apply and ok. Now reboot and see if that clears it up.

When I installed version 1.5 on my Mac,no Adobe AIR application

The solution is to completely empty any Input Managers you have installed
on your Mac, located under /Library/InputManagers and ~/Library/InputManagers
(the Library folder located under your user folder). If you do that,
the problem magically disappears!
